    - EVERYTHING DIODE DYNAMICS STAGE SERIES!!!!! Pods and Light bars.
    - Please include product model, power level (ie sport, pro, max) and lens option/color.
    - Output shots are must! Preferably useful output shots (like against a wall 20ft min and/orreal world use) and not Amazon style camera faced at the light 10ft away showing how it blinds the camera. lol
    - Personal experience, likes, dislikes (doubt many will have much for dislikes, but you never know) and any other notes they'd like to include. Like how they are mounted or wired up.
    - NO bashing! If you disliked another brand and moved onto DD please share your experience (insightful valid info please) but don't go around saying X company is a piece of garbage with no reasoning. People like to know factual reasons why X is better than Y.

I'll join in.... my photos are all with my iPhone 12 Pro, no fancy camera.

SS3 Pro SAE Fog with selective yellow lens vs OEM LED 2021 Subaru Ascent. Headlights off, fog lights only. SS3's adjusted a little high in this photo, wall apx 40ft away.

    4A65C69E-FCAD-4619-84CF-4E5A1AC6626A.jpg

Same car as above, wall apx 100ft away. Again, fog lights only, headlights off and adjusted slightly high.

    IMG_4201.jpg

Same vehicle as above. OEM LED headlights on, SS3 Pro Fog light on and still adjusted high. Don't worry I lowered them after taking these pictures, but didn't get follow-up pictures.

    Low Beam and Fog.jpg

This is my buddies 2020 Subaru Legacy with OEM LED headlights on and SS3 MAX SAE Fog with selective yellow lenses during a snow storm.

    SS3 Max.jpg

For reference this my 2nd gen Tacoma with RX350 projectors, clear lens swap, Osram NB Laser bulbs and Hella gen 3 ballasts. Pretty much the setup that all other projector retrofits are compared to, truly the best overall beam pattern out there. Though aftermarket projectors (HID and LED) are getting very close. These set the standard because of their very wide and well distributed beam pattern. This is headlights only, and the wall is about 100ft away. I haven't purchased SS3 fog lights for this yet because the headlights are that good and the 2nd gen H11 fog lights with Philips Racing Vision or Tungsram Megalight Ultra bulbs are very good. The Ascent was the priority since it's or long distance traveling car, all 5500k-6000k forward lighting is terrible in snowy conditions and it's my wifes daily, she needs all the help she can get. lol

    IMG_1140.jpg

I know this isn't Diode Dynamics, but these are the VLED Triton reverse lights in our Ascent. I had the HIR GY6 which was a major upgrade over the stock 921, but the VLEDs blow those out of the water, at least in the Ascent housings. In these 2 photos is the HIR on the left and the VLEDs on the right. What appears to be a dark spot on the VLEDs side is not visibly seen by the naked eye but for some reason is visible in the pictures. Distance was about 10-12ft from the garage.

    Reverse 1.jpg

    Reverse 2.jpg

Finally, I'll soon be getting some output shots of the SSC2 Pro SAE Fog with clear lenses. But I haven't set aside the time to do that yet. I will say these things mounted to my Victory Cross Country helped a ton! Amazing for lighting up the ditches and actually project quite a ways out. I was skeptical since I have 2 sets SS3 Pro SAE Fog lights (Subaru and soon on my 91 MR2) and know how well they perform, but I was quite surprised how amazing they are! As bright or brighter than pretty much any headlight you can get I would say, if you have a halogen motorcycle headlight you wont even know it's on! My headlight is retrofitted (seeing a trend here? haha) with a D2S 4.0, shield drop mod, shield modded for less of a step, Morimoto 5000k bulb and Hella Gen 3 ballast. Not many single light source headlights on a motorcycle are brighter than this.

As you can see I LOVE Diode Dynamics Stage Series pod lights!! Though I usually wait for a sale or PM @memario1214 and get them through hotshotoffroad.com. He's done great and has awesome customer service, can't say enough positive about him and his company!!!

Got a set of Selective Yellow Sports installed, no pics in use. I can say we get rain and fog down here quite a bit in certain seasons and these do help cut through it.

You should think about editing your original post to get more substantial info and add something along the lines of:
    - EVERYTHING DIODE DYNAMICS STAGE SERIES!!!!! Pods and Light bars.
    - Please include product model, power level (ie sport, pro, max) and lens option/color.
    - Output shots are must! Preferably useful output shots (like against a wall 20ft min and/or real world use) and not Amazon style camera faced at the light 10ft away showing how it blinds the camera.

I'm actually surprised no one has made this post yet for DD pod and stage series light bars yet. Though DD guys don't tend to go for street cred, they lay low and prefer to let the lights speak for themselves. They don't typically go around bragging about brand recognition for points on Instagram! haha Which is why I like DD so much, they care about functionality, customer service (in country too boot), let their product do all the talking. Even their videos are factual (not subjective), use real specifications at the stabilized output and not initial like many manufactures and use the correct equipment to measure output unlike many YouTube videos. Thats actually how I learned how poor the BD S2 Pro performs after 10-15min of runtime, it actually drops down to the output level equal to the BD S2 Sport. Which leads me to believe BD possibly do this with other lights referring to thermal protection. I hope someone shares some output shots of a stage series bar compared to a pod, I'm curious how they compare in the real world. This could be very helpful and useful for vendors and @Diode Dynamics in many ways! Obviously these lights pretty much sell themselves already, but more publicity for these companies that support us and our nerdiness the better!

Sorry guys, I tend to be very wordy in my posts..... I like more info vs general statements. :notsure:

I too am surprised this post hasn’t been made yet and was thinking about making one as well. I only have experience with one other brand that I won’t name, but this particular brands powder coating started peeling within 6 months as well as yellowing lenses. I’ve been using DD for over a year now with no sign of wear on the powder coat and the lenses are still crystal clear.

I currently have 2 ss3 pro driving and 2 ssc2 sports in driving pattern as well in the ditch location. The ss3’s do an amazing job at lighting beyond where my high beams reach and the ssc2’s are angled slightly out and down to cover the outside edge of the road about 75-100’ ahead. I also have ss3 pro yellow fogs that are AMAZING driving down a particular road I travel that’s generally always hazy due to an ocean breeze. Then finally a single ssc2 sport in the rear with a combo pattern for hooking up my trailer at night or just a general work light, I don’t like using it for reverse though as I feel it’s too bright.

I have 4 ssc1’s on order for scene lighting on my rack for when I’m camping. I’m already wired up and ready to go for when they’re shipped, so I’m a little excited.

all in all I’m very pleased with these lights. If I had to complain about one thing, it’s the pig tail that plugs in. I’d love to have a fixed pig tail about 12-18”.

I don’t have many night shots but I do have one up against a wall from about 50’ away that shows well what they can do. This is with the ss3 pros (fog and driving) and the ssc2s.

the rusty bolts are not what was supplied by DD, they had stainless. I bought what was supposed to be stainless painted black but we can see that was false.

I’ll post. I have both brands DD and BD
My fogs and reverse pods are DD but my ditch lights are the other. I currently don’t have pics of the rear pods

instead of editing my whole post, I’ll just add to it with output shots. I’m about 100’ from the trees

1-low beams only, my low beams are upgraded to a nicer halogen bulb. Can’t remember the exact bulb as I changed them as soon as I got the truck.

I know what you're saying about the pigtail. But I have had the hardwired ones fail in the past due to a wire coming loose in that connection, granted they were el cheapo lights though. I would like to see some 90 degree harnesses from DD. But if you're willing to you can add a 90 degree backshell like in the link below to make bends easier if you are going up or down, I haven't found one that has a 90 going left or right though. However in the case of your scene lighting that you are planning and running 2 on on each side of the truck you could use a 180 degree (straight) backshell and instead of clamping them closed you could leave it open (think like a T-Fitting in plumbing), zip tie the wires to the legs of the backshell and make an "inline" wire so you only have to run 2 wires to each side.

Ehh, mine aren't THAT well thought out... You don't even know how many times I re-read and edit before and after a post, it's stressful. lol But I like to include as much info as possible that is relevant since I'm sure there are others that have the same questions and concerns I do but don't speak up or haven't even thought about x,y or z. Like in many motorcycle communities (Victory specifically since I own one) they rarely think about useful and safe lighting. Many riders just want all the light to themselves and don't care about oncoming traffic. Just plain ignorance. Many riders like the clearwater designs lights. I don't because it's essentially just a dimmable combo light and they're mid range Darla set up is $550!!!! For what!? You can't/shouldn't use them with oncoming traffic and they barely equal the output of the SSC2 Pro's at peak output (according to their lumen rating). For that price I can get 2 pairs of of SSC2's or 1 pair of SS3 Max lights, 1 pair of SSC2 Pro's blow those clearwater designs out of the water comparing videos I have seen of them. 1 pair of I like power, but only with control.

Hell ya man, Thank you for being open to suggestion!! I'm really surprised how little glare there is by the SSC2 driving pattern. Could almost use those as auxiliary low beams if mounted low for longer distance.

never thought of even looking for a 90 honestly. It’s more of an appearance thing for me on my wiring that’s exposed rather than function. The lights are absolutely beautiful and in my opinion, the plug kills it a little. I have however made them more pleasing with some shrink tubing and pvc sheathing. But thanks, I can definitely see myself looking into that in the future whenever I decided to redo all my other wiring and neaten it up a little more.

As far as wiring, that’s kind of what I plan to do, except with a 3rd wire for the back light feature that I’ll probably never use anyway, but it looks cool

the ssc2’s are great. Those are the lights I started out with in flood as true ditch lights but I decided to order some driving lenses more or less to see what they could do. The sports reach a little further than my stock high beams but are much more focused. For a month I left them shooting straight forward just out of curiosity, and was quite impressed. After that, I ordered the ss3 pros lol.

ultimately I’d like to have two more ss3’s in driving and two ss3’s in spot for long range mounted at the same height as my factory lights. But until I get a different bumper or say screw it and start cutting my grill up, I’ll have to settle for the ditch position.

    Ss3 pro yellow fog

Just got some ss3 combo yellows installed last night. I have them angled out slightly as they are partially blocked by the grill. I need to get out on the trail to test them. They seem to be a great trail light when ran with the yellow fogs as they give more distance, but also fill in between the fogs and low beams. Very easy on the eyes too. I should be able to get some output shots this weekend. Ill post those up later.

THIS! This is exactly what I want to do. Just can’t bring myself to cut the grill just yet. Is that the BAMF behind grill bracket or a custom job?

Its a custom job. I went back and forth on the grill. I figured if i hated it, it woulda been only 160ish bucks for the china pro grill lol. Allowing the driving pods to not be blocked really makes a difference. I tried both.
