I’m surprised banks will give loans out for over MSRP. I will be getting another Tacoma or Tundra or 4Runner at the end of the year. Hope the crazy prices are gone by Christmas time.

I’m hoping that the high prices for used hang around. Partially parting out my taco and selling when I get back.

I know used cars especially have been high on the lots but I still don’t get it cause I got my 2021 late April for $1200 under MSRP and only had to wait 2 weeks for it to get here. I wanted a manual so that’s why I went for it. It was very difficult finding one, but I still found room for negotiation despite the salesmen telling me there wasn’t any.

While the used market is so killer, I’ll be glad to take offers on my family-owned blue 1986 2wd pickup, 22re 174k original miles. Just PM me :p

Dropped another 1700 miles on the Tacoma this week. Idle isn’t quite as smooth anymore. Might be time for plugs and MAF cleaning. The aftermarket trans cooler worked great in the mountains of WV. Even with outside temp around 90 degrees and long climbs, the trans temp never went over 178 degrees. 99% of the time it stays below 165.

Here is an interesting one for you guys.

A little while back my son was putting dishes away when this measuring cup / shot glass fell into the coffee cup, and it is now absolutely 100% stuck in there. Looking at this picture it looks like you just pull it out or turn the cup over or whatever, but oh no. I mean it is SAF.

How would you remove the measuring cup from the coffee cup?
