Sooooo. I snoop on the local dealership's website. VIN for my truck is listed. my sales guy is gone today, so no pick up, but I can go in and take a look at it!

 

where’d you get the wheels? They’re VERY nice

 

I was lucky enough to place a deposit on an incoming TRD Off road and waited about 3 weeks for a MGM package.
We recently traded for a white Pro model as well. Now they have a Silver 3rd gen Off road sitting and waiting for a new owner, I am surprised its not sold.

 

Just ordered them at the dealer with the tires, they have lots nationwide. Have also seen them on ebay sold as sets of 4 for a reasonable price.

Manager too lazy to fill out the paperwork??

 

My sales guy is out today. This will be the third vehicle that we've bought from him. But probably a bit of paperwork and stuff like that with a lazy sales manager. At this point, I don't care that much. they open at 0830 and I can pretty much guarantee that I'll be there when the doors open.

 

Ahh, understandable knowing you've got a relationship with the salesman.

 

yeah. I figure it's not a huge inconvenience and the sales guy has done good finding my tundra and now getting the SR I wanted. Keeping the relationship good so if I ever upgrade he'll be a good resource for finding one.

 

Oh man, you’re doing all the mods I want too haha! Those bronze wheels… so nice. I wanted to do exactly that and maybe color the “Toyota” on the grill the same bronze color. Good to know the bronze really works with the army green.
Also love the tube steps. Trying to decide between those and predator steps for mine.

You’re getting those mods done FAST!!! It’ll probably take another year of me saving my pennies to get my build to the same place. Nice work!

 

Thanks man, yea the bronze wheels definitely "pop" in a good way, glad you're digging it... I had some parts stockpiled here while I was waiting lol.. I have done a few army green tufskinz mods and paracord grab handles in the interior as well, haven't posted a pic of that yet.

As far as the steps go, I went with the rough country steps because the steps are more for wife and kids and looks(I'm 6'6 and don't need the steps)I liked the black and I liked that the "steps" dont drop as much as the predators, help a little with clearance if such things concern you. They're also a little cheaper.

 

Wife approved. Also found out that it does have remotes. Tomorrow morning I'll be there when they open.

Rcvd info on an allotment on 6/3, MG OR 4DR 4X4 TRD, with options. Build date, 7/22. Dealer advised, should be here week of 8/16.
Location build, thought I saw Mex/Baja, CA somewhere. Went to dealer to order a '22. Could no believe what they gave us for our trade, on the '21. My wife is stingy, sitting at the table with the sales rep, she did a knee slap to me, "take it" ! The '04 is a keeper.

 

Just waiting for them to do the final detailing.
