Ok cool. Definitely interested to see it! And I agree . That's a whole other level. I like them.. but yes.. at that point I'd probably still do a 4x4 van.

Have been running one for a few years. No issues. Works great.

I’m pretty much hooked on using them. I was worried about the safety of it at first but it’s a well made product with overlapping levels of safety and it makes oil changes sooooo easy. Use with the utmost confidence. I even put one on my Civic when I had it, and that was lowered.

    Ummm....stuff and more stuff
I haven't had any issues with them leaking. The springs are well made and forces the valve closed. I'm running a IFS and it protects it when hanging down. If you are not running a aftermarket skid I would be concerned if you offroad about catching it on a rock and bending or damaging it to cause it to leak.

If you’re dragging your oil pan on rocks to begin with, fumoto valve or not you have bigger issues…

Anyone know much about paint? I had a little bubble spot on my rear below the bed top. Had a little crack in it and when it rained I guess rain in and expanded. So now I had bigger bubble that is now peeling

do I let it run its course or do I need to scrub off the loose bubble areas so it doesn’t peel past them?

Damn! I thought my hood was bad. It's doing the same thing in small spots all over the front of the hood. Rock chips that have spread the same way.

It's gonna keep going unfortunately. Maybe sand it all and have it repainted.

Since it’s already not looking good, you could try making sure the area is dry underneath, and then do a few coats of plastidip to essentially seal the area to prevent water from creeping into it to begin with. At least with the plasti dip you can easily remove it when you fee it’s time for a new paint job or different fix.

Been running one on the taco and runner for about a year. Works great no complaints yet. Oil changes are a breeze with no tools needed.

HAve you called and set up a claim through toyota about the super white paint yet? They are still collecting claims for the tacoma. So the more of us that do it will eventually get it bumped to get us new paint jobs.

Looking for a ride either Saturday or Sunday from NW Tucson (Twin Peaks) up to what I guess is the Cave Creek area right around 101 and 51.

Anyone going that way? I'm buying a daily driver up there so need to be able to drive it home. If nothing pans out, I should be able to use AAA for a one way tow.

XPO is right. It ain't gonna be pretty but the only way to stop that is to chip all of it away, sand the edges down, prime, and get it repainted.

I hadn't heard anything about Super White getting a settlement from Toyota, but I would say that would absolutely qualify as a defective application. That's not lack of maintenance that's a complete breakdown of adhesion to the substrate.

I never had any problems w/my Super White but then again... me. Some kind of whirled up mix of ADHD/OCD/Autism spectrum thrown in a blender and unleashed on an unsuspecting public and/or Tacoma.

I love my Fumoto drain valves .. 100k miles with zero leaks. Zero drips because of using a hose to oil dump it.. who cares if it takes a few minutes longer. I do have armor which protects it, and has an access hole to flip the switch. I would totally do it again.

What kind of hose do you use, out of curiosity? I always felt like having an oily ass hose sitting somewhere slowly globbing oil into something between oil changes would be more of a pain than wiping a drip off the pan.

For the 'runner I'm actually thinking about getting the nipple-less one.

I had some clear hose from a crappy fuel transfer pump.. sorry don't know the size. I just roll it up and put it in a ziplock. and set in the oil pan. The problem I had before was truck is so lifted the initial splash out of the oil collection pan onto the driveway was a pain in the ass.

I also do blackstone oil analysis and this makes it super easy to get a sample with the valve. zero mess

I leave my hose attached and stuffed up there. I just fish it out, and run it through the hole in the skid plate. Easy peasy!

If I didn't have a skid I'd still use the hose to avoid the mess. It never failed that a breeze or the flow of the oil would change and drip somehow on the driveway.

I haven't had time to swap them yet. Kinda low on my priority list to be honest. I will definitely let you know when they are off though. Might end up waiting until the bumper and camper go on, then set the rear then.. and adjust the front accordingly. So 2-3 months probably.
