I placed my stock wheels and KO2s back on. Since it is my daily driver, I did not want to run the risk of excessive rubbing.

I did a 2.5" lift (FOX 2.5, 650lb coils, Icon UCAs) and had plenty of room to spare with 285/75/16, KM3s. Wheels are 16x8, 0 offset. I decided that the tires were a bit of an overkill for me being mud terrain, and also wanted to go a bit bigger. Mounted 295/75/16 Toyo AT3s, and will definitely be needing a CMC. No rubbing on the street, highway or parking lot even with the steering wheel at full turn. But I'm sure it will rub in off-road terrain.

That little bit of difference between the two tire sizes is noticeable between the two sizes, although both tires are technically 33s.To me, it was totally worth the trade off of having a CMC..

Offset and backspacing are related but will change as the wheel is wider or narrower.

So if I understand this correctly- negative offset gives the appearance of a wider stance, but the trade off is rubbing issues. I opted for zero offset for this reason.

Zero offset is still .5" further out than your stock TRD Pro wheels which are +12

    This right here. ^^

    Stock wheels (or stock dimensions).

    Full 33" dia.

NO lift of any kind needed, no rubbing or cutting. Or risk of side effects from any of those.

Well filled wheelwells, better tire size in snow, available in E rating for your rocky area.

Just take it to a shop with the wheels/tires you want and tell em make it fit. Get the CMC done and any fender trimming needed. Might as well just rip the band aide off and get it done with.

SPC UCAs (or other caster-correcting UCAs) could help your cause along with a good alignment that gets your caster maxed out and moves your wheels forward

A body lift does nothing for the geometry between your wheel and frame, it's not going to change contact between tire and body mount.
