First cleaning last night!

 

Open the windows and get some fans going. Grew up without AC at all in the Panhandle. Consider it training for when the grid goes down!!!

 

I grew up in a single wide trailer with no air either. But that’s doesn’t mean I don’t miss my AC! If the grid does go down, it’s gonna get crazy!

 

Man makes me feel spoiled and i grew up in a 2 bedroom apartment with some window units.

 

Damn kids, get off my lawn!

 

so guys, just a random thought. Should I be worried about going on long trips camping or trail riding Something like a KAT trip with the mileage on my truck (287300)? Im not really worried about it but with that many miles its just in the back of my mind if I'm going to be more than a couple hours from home.

 

Satan called. He wants his weather back!

 

Just waiting on UPS to drop off the upper. I had to throw a cheap grip on. Apparently I didn't have an extra Magpul laying around

 

If it’s that old you should be good to go. Only the new ones break.

Ha, a friend from back home did HVAC for awhile and said the same thing. “Run it till it blows up then get the one with the best warranty”. It’s been solid, except when it’s 100 outside but I don’t think many can keep up when it’s that hot.

 

I talked with a few home inspectors who would say everything is built to fail now.

 

This is the first one I've had.......so I have no idea

As long as you keep up with the maintenance it should be good. I drove a 2000 model all over the Southeast and did a lot of hard offroading. I drove it for two, two week trips to Moab Utah, 4400 miles round trip. I did a 3 day 603 mile Red Clay Rally, came in 3rd place. I was not afraid to drive it any where and it had 280,000 on it.

The brown truck brought me some goodies. I been work on the Samurai most of the day and damn it is hot.

 

I'm waiting on the brown truck too. But my "work" has been sitting in front of the TV. I am such an A/C baby now

 

Thats good to know, it doesn't show any signs of weakness and I know the previous owner took great care of it. Its just one of those things I have to get used to with Toyotas.

 

My son drives one of my Tacomas daily that has 360,000 miles on it. He lives in Madison and works in Cullman
