I got the ijdmtoy lights and with careful measurement and drilling they fit perfectly in the blank part of the SR grille

Same for your setup.. and you didn't have to cut holes in your grille

I was thinking of drilling a hole on the location you have yours. But went another route

I honestly wanted the xtrek grille or the 19 SR grille. I wasn't sure that the TSS would work with the xtrek and I really didn't want to spend money. But this is what I wanted.

    upload_2021-7-29_20-31-27.jpg

I wasn't willing to spend like $250 and definitely not willing to loose TSS, so my first mods were to tint the TSS and add the lights... it kinda made the 20 SR grille not so terrible and it has grown on me to the point where I like it. $35 and no worries about my TSS not working... win

Finally got the new shoes on (after watching the prices go up for the past several months) - went up from stock steelies/245s to 265/75/16 C rated duratrac's and some new wheels I found on FB marketplace a few months ago. totally changed the look.

Thanks. Yes I have a 3 inch rough country lift. I know it’s not fox or kings but I don’t have that much money and I live in flat land. I won’t be doing anything too crazy. I had the TSS wheels but didn’t care for them so I got KMC grenades and 285/70/17 BFG KO2s. No rubbing so far since I took that front plastic dam off the front. My prinsu rack will be here Thursday and I plan on getting either a bed rack or a shell soon.

thanks man - i've been looking into getting new tires for way too long. lucked out on finding the wheels locally for a good price. Super excited on the look...very happy with how the 265/75s fit on the stock suspension. zero rubbing thus far but havent really put them to the test yet.

Just got back from an overseas trip to Afghanistan, currently looking to put on a TRD pro style grille, anybody have suggestions? Currently have a 2020 SX and looking to also incorporate the TSS feature. My main hope is to stay true to the TRD look, however it is nearly impossible to buy a TRD Pro grille from Toyota. So far most of my mods have been aesthetic (wheels/tires, fogs, etc), but I would like to stay true to a "stock" looking truck until I add lift, bumpers, etc....

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks..

Thank you for your service, and man would I love to hear more if you can share.

On the pro grille swap, I have a 2017 so no TSS, but it was super easy as long as you go slow and try not to break any tabs. From those with TSS, you need to get the glass for the sensor. It seems that most people have no issues with the knockoffs but occasionally someone's gets finicky, usually if they have a lift. Usually the dealers are fine servicing/recalibrating, but again occasionally one will refuse to touch it if the lift or grille is non-Toyota. I think thats why Toyota started offering the pro-grill and pro suspension as a parts package, but I think its stupidly overprice.

Looks really nice. Did you notice much difference in the transmission response or braking with the larger tires. That 1" extra diameter and aggressive look really makes a difference!

    Washing it helped too.

man I thought I would notice differences in various areas but to be honest, I can’t really tell a difference anywhere. Maybe because it’s a 4 cylinder and it’s just generally slow and underpowered - hard to notice if it got a bit slower. Those new wheels are lighter than the steel wheels, but the new tires are heavier than the old ones. I drive 90 minutes to work 2-3 days a week going 80mph and it feels more or less the same. MPG has taken a slight hit but in terms of things I can physically feel…there really isn’t much.
