    Usually the caps/campers that go off-road have body mounts mounted to the bed to help alleviate the flex that can damage the camper.

    I will be putting a floor on my cap and shortening it down. I have beefed up my frame to help with the flex as well. See how it all goes.....figured I will be able to repair anything if anything breaks.

    Took it for a drive today, didn't reach highway speeds but slow to about 60-80ish km/h and I couldn't tell a difference. No vibrations or sounds...should I be looking for anything else?

    My cams did not move at all during installation and my alignment seems the exact same. I think I will wait and see if the needle bearing issue arises over the next week or two and then wait to get an alignment after that.

    So you don't have a vibration but are looking to have a problem? :confused:

    FYI I'm lifted 2.7" in front and don't have vibrations. All I did was the CV boot slide mod as described here, since the fins were touching: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-cv-boot-mod.190669/ That was two years ago.

    Hahah, no I definitely don't want the problem. Just worried it could arise, but all is well now. :thumbsup:

    Did not know about the CV mod, will take a look now.

    My gf just sent me a video of this mega cool adventure rig on the highway.

    Phone was on the phone mount so I didn't get a side view.

    On a serious note, was that the front diff? Wonder if the dunking in Ardbeg last year did it?

    After I lifted my truck it was 6 months later that the vibrations started and 25000 km.

    that was rear diff. Used Motomaster 80W90 which has a blue-ish tint when up against black.
    the diff oil (it's 60k km, 2 years old) did mixed with the 0w-20 engine oil i just changed and not entirely dumped out the catch can. also shined LED lights right exactly at it so probably did something
    this is a new bottle of that oil;
