    Aloha Tacoma World,

We just picked up a 2021 Tacoma SR5 4cyl 4x2 last month. I started to do some small visual mods to the truck. I’ve upgraded the headlight bulbs from halogens to LED’s. I did the low beams only. I installed new Z-Off-road LED fog lights. I just recently changed the front turn signals to LED’s as well. I picked up the GTR lighting CANBUS 2.0 amber LED turn signals and my left side is hyper flashing. The reason why I got the GTR was because of the built in CANBUS anyone know how to fix the hyper flashing that is happening.

Welcome to TW & congrats on the new truck!

Google the hyperflashing and will find a few threads on here and other sites for remedies

I’ve been researching all night and looking for answer everyone is talking about load balancing I’m trying to avoid any wiring cause I don’t want to mess around with anything electrical with the truck. I’m gonna talk to the manufacturer tomorrow to see if they can help with it.

I'm by no means an electrician but you're going to need a higher load on the circuits for the flashers. No way around that. That said, there are different methods for doing so.

do NOt cut into or splice into the OEM wiring harness

the electronic controls ( lil black boxes ) are tuned to what Toyota engineered & built

NOT every aftermarket accessory that looks cool will work like the mundane orig

even tho LEDs for ditch lites

    turn signals

dash goblins etc seem like plug/play No Brainers

many times they look foreign to the black boxes....................

all spark plugs are NOT the same

all LEDS are NOT the same

many other accessories fit that rule o thumb

they have different amp & voltage draws on the system & the lil o black boxes

are NOT willing to play well with others
