Yes, you're going to have to rotate the fitting to roughly a 45*. It is an ORB (o-ring) and can be done while pressurized.

 

I’m being extra needy, but this is new for me- where are you guys welding the limit strap to the the frame? it mounts to the rear most part of the bypass tabs, right? I probably just need a solid picture of that area.

 

In between the rectangle cut out and the bump stop. I shaved off a little on the bottom of the mount to clear the weld on the frame.

 

perfect, thanks guys. I was so close to getting things put together, but Fox making a boo boo delayed things. It’s been nice to take care of some half ass stuff I did years ago though and pet peeve stuff that never gets fixed otherwise.

 

I recently did mine and I ended up taking a part the hardline/flex line connection and ran the hard line inside the gusset tab on the frame. Cycled the UCA and nothing hits or bends more than it should so far. I'll try posting a photo later, but you've already redone your lines by now lol.

 

Way too much lacking of beers for these types of late night shenanigans. But I think it was in here that there was talk of catastrophic failures of the front diff and ADD. Going with 5.29’s, REM polishing and cryo treating the ring and pinion and a Eaton e locker. Also having the little axle and stub shaft from the ADD cryo treated. We’ll see how long it lasts haha.



And for @desertjunkie760 @kasnerd @XPOTRPR @Sixthelement @singletrack_ftw and @81Trekker or anyone else that wants, we’ll be camping in the cinders in flagstaff the weekend of 8/21. Go fast shenanigans in the cinders and then running dead doe wash (rock trail) to give the ole 4wd system a good break in.

New better paying job started this week too. So hopefully can save up for the Howe pump kit ASAP

But you should come out and try anyways. You saw the trail. Worst case, you get as far as you like, park it and then walk/ ride along until we turn around to come back out the trail. It’s a short trail

 

I have an 09 OR. Am I correct in thinking to bleed the front brakes I just need to crack the bleeders one at a time and push the pedal a bit with the truck turned on but not cranked? The pump should do all the work, correct? I never did the rear lines because the hard lines had to be spliced so I took it to a shop…

 

Yes. Just put a brick on the brake pedal and go to each corner. Just be very mindful of how much fluid is in the reservoir. It’s easy to run it dry.

For all 2005+ off roads/pros. The electronic booster continuously pumps fluid through the lines until you close the bleeder if there’s pressure on the brake pedal. It is EASY.
