Very similar to what we do. I’m not the best at communicating because it’s instinct for me to just keep to myself when something bothers me because I’m trying to avoid an argument. Seems we’re both like that. We’ve gotten better, but still trying!

Sounds very much like us for sure. I feel my wife is more stubborn than I am so generally I'm the one that cave in and just go with it. I've never once absolutely not ever heard my wife say she's sorry. I have a handful of times said it.
I'd also add that 99% of our disagreement have been with raising our kids. I feel like counseling a long time ago might have been beneficial. Kids are almost 19 and the other 21 so beyond that now.
You'll be fine, just work through those difficult times, and try to communicate, maybe later than heat of the moment.

Yeah…I’m stubborn. More so from the environment I was raised in/was around in my previous marriage. I was always in “fight” mode because of the drama that family would cause. So it was either stick to myself, then fight to get them away from me. Good times.

 

Do your best to put it behind you. ( I'm new guy..sort of around here, so don't know if ribber is daddy to the little one, so if not and you still have to deal with their drama BS because of...do your best, dont let their BS get between what you have now).
You got a new guy now that loves you and the little one like his own, then hang on to it, make it work.
I'm a little surprised seeing a few good friends, now that we're older how difficult it is to find someone....
I feel kind of goofy giving my take on things so take it with a grain of salt or whatever. Just kind of sharing some of my experiences. Some may fit or make sense and others way off

I do have the baby daddy drama, but Matt couldn’t be more helpful with all of that. He’s the best with my daughter and I couldn’t ask for more. Communication sounds so easy, but it is hard, but I have gotten much better! Lol

Now awake from my coma that was supposed to be a short nap. I have a friend who needs assistance, got text from his daughter that they need help moving his new lift chair inside before it rains.

 

I cant offer much advice, not that you asked for any advice but other than if its truly a big deal (insert whatever it was) then it needs to be discussed. If its not a big deal, say so and mean it, then move on. This applies to both involved Im not picking sides.

I know it doesnt mean much from a random person on the internets... but I give Mcrib many props for manning up and taking of you both.

 

Ok ok… full stop! All good in the hood! We treat TW as a fun environment to play and joke! Our relationship is solid, we just haven’t come to a solid date due to other opposing factors! All advice is appreciated, but just know as of this particular moment, the relationship is untroubled! We will be married in time!!
