I figured it wrong from the arm, thinking govenor like in a Briggs 5hp. Now that I know what it is, yep seen them on an engine manifold before. Some of those 'automatic' chokes didn't work fer shit.

 

Mostly because folks didn't read the (service) manual and adjust them correctly.

Funny, people still don't read manuals...

He did say in the photography challenge thread that he was going to step back for a while. Hoping everything is alright as well. I know my better half has told me before that I spend too much time on here, so maybe it's something similar?

 

Good morning crew, good Friday morning even.
I suspected as much or kind of figured that our fine man and thread keeper, creed was just stepping back for awhile.
I find myself on here sometimes more than I should be (work rules). But it is a fun place and often feel like I'm in company of genuinely good folks.
Figure also the age of his children, my kids had to have (right...no!) Smart phones like everyone else at a much earlier age than they needed them. They had higher technology phones before I did!
Think about it also, there's a bunch of garbage about the net that youngsters aren't ready for or be subjected too. I suppose there are parental controls. But anyway enough ramblings..... think maybe creed setting examples.
