End of 2019 they moved it up to around $5k but looks like they increased it again after the last increase.

This was my fun with Bling today. 2 of these little parts from 360 Brass. Small holes with +/- .0003" Diameter and Positional callouts, and also some 0-80 threads that were .330" deep. Started them with the .040" thread mill.. then finished them by hand with the tap. Still ended up having to grind and relieve the shoulder of the tap to get it all the way through.. First part is in Inspection for tomorrow morning.. Then 1 more to go after that.. if this one checks out good that is..

oh yeah.. and there's also 2-56 threads that intersect those little 0-80 threads...

Hey everyone- so stoked to find this thread. I was lucky enough to swoop up a used '08 SC Tacoma with 135k miles and I am loving learning and tinkering. SC was installed by dealer with original purchase. I've done some basic mods to support wheeling (nothing engine related) I'm realizing though...that besides basic fluids I don't think the rig was well maintained. I also made the major SC rookie mistake of putting regular fuel in for about 2k miles before realizing premium was needed and switching over immediately - though I suspect previous owner was doing the same. About 500 miles after switching to premium I'm getting a P0420 code (bank 1 cat inefficiency)- wondering if the sudden change could have lead to this...or if unrelated. I understand the basic steps to troubleshoot a P0420 but don't know if the SC changes that process at all, especially given the fuel change. Planning to do spark-plugs as soon as I can but it won't be for at least another ~1500 miles (have a trip I have to take prior)- seems in rare cases that could be related to this code too.

Sounds like your cats are going Me-ow (couldn’t help myself). Some people “fix” it by getting sims from URD. Shouldn’t take more than a few min to install sim. You’re probably running rich causing your cats to go. I hope you don’t live in Cali….

URD no longer sells/lists any of the sims due to the current climate and lawsuits that are being passed out by a 3 letter agency.
