hey now, mine is installed and is great for getting out of the cab, and looks good, too.

BUT, i happened to see a FB post last night about someone getting stiffed on their attempt to get a missing cover sent to them. the deluge of negative comments was shocking, one after the other, every one of them with a different complaint including several saying they put comments up on their her website that were deleted and only positive comments show or something. this chick is looking really bad, i'm just glad mine worked out. if i knew then what i do now i would not have pre-ordered.

Where I'm sitting, the KTJO 4x4 PoS handle does not block any view, but the right side one does just bit on the rear side of the pillar. The seating position is sorta fixed for me for reach to the wheel with the limited adjustment and my short-ish legs to the pedals.

The further back the seat is adjusted, the more left side blockage, but it is minimal in my estimation.

The new Tundra seems to have a drivers side handle on the pillar.

With weakened, yield metal, I stand by my assessment as a visual mod only on my Taco. I've put it to light duty use just three times since installation due to tight parking where the door couldn't be opened to the first notch.

i'm with you on that, so although i'm careful not to hang on the thing, it is still a pretty decent help getting out and keeping my low back from stressing.

I ordered mine form KTJO, then saw some of these posts and panicked a little. Got everything 5 days later. All the hardware is included and all the covers seem to fit well.
I am going to get different hardware before doing the install, again because of reading the posts here. I will update when the install is complete.

Kidding aside, I'm 6' (6' 1" with boots) and I find myself using the steering wheel everytime I climb up on the saddle, and my 2020 is stock height. I totally see the function, but still guessing theres a reason on our Tacomas it was omitted, and it wasn't cost.

Takes me back to my youth when I used to hold the roof on with my left hand. Manual in those days too. :D

The 3" lift pro comp, bushwacker fender flares, window deflectors, bug guard shield, roof rack, dual exhaust, bull bar with KC lights. May add tool box and tonneau cover.
I did get a second driver side grab handle. When I emailed KTJO 4 x4 I already installed your grab bar 4 months ago and why did you send another one. The answer was - Weird. Just the word weird???

I had surgery a month back and getting in and out of the truck was rough. Heading in to it I contemplated taking the risk on these but figured that splitting my guts open as I got out of the truck was probably more desirable than dealing with KTJO

I didn’t bother her with the details of my unsolicited grab handle. Just passed it on. I wonder who does her books?
