I knew a guy in the town of Arthur that used an empty beer bottle to bleed brakes.... he was a pretty hard core drinker. He grabbed the wrong bottle one day. His guts were pretty much done after that

Apparently it doesn't taste that bad, but can cause blindness and liver damage similar to industrial alcohol: https://www.poison.org/articles/brake-fluid

That’s pretty fancy for my old girl! I sent a message to the seller to thank him for shipping from British Columbia and he thanked me for buying them because he bought them as overlays by mistake!

They are not OEM decals by the packaging

The V6 is going to go on the back of my RAV4 After Toyota re-paints the tailgate under a recall for blizzard pearl paint failure. They are going to give me a loaner so that’s nice and it looks like a wintertime job so I will probably be spinning around in the snow in a Corolla.

Assisted the FIL in fixing a shed last night. A tree previously fell against the corner and shifted it off its supports.

Hi-lift works well for house projects too

New tailgate handle install this morning. Simple straightforward procedure and a decent fitting DEPO part that was only $22 on Amazon. Not sure if the one I removed was OEM (saw no Toyota markings) but it’s the first one I have done in over 10 years unlike the cheapo doorhandles that need replacing regularly if you do not baby them.
