I'd buy a Defender 90 before a Bronco or Hummer.
But also I'd never buy a Hummer, though I would buy a 2 door Bronco, they look kinda fun.
I'm a sucker for a (non Jeep) short wheelbase 4x4

The new offroad Broncos don't look too bad for a new/modern day SUV. The Sport ones that have been around this past year are awful, but not really comparable.

Yeah I agree. For being 2021 I think they did a good job with some old school flare to it, good on em for taking that risk. And ARB is on board now with some good accessories. The Sport is bleh, I'm seeing a lot of them here too. Maybe people are over the "normal" small SUVs? I can't figure out who buys em.
I work next to a Land Rover dealer and get to see the trucks drop the new stock off and the D90s are rad in person. LR did a great job on their factory snorkels too, you can barely see them when going down the road.

As I get older, even though my vehicle tastes run to anything (everything) older, I think about safety features of new stuff and that's the only thing that even makes me think of switching. Especially now that I have a longer commute.

Bonus: Bowler Motors just gearing up their rally D90 versions:

Safety features...*looks at baby carrier in passenger seat of his 04 Xtra cab Tacoma*

To be fair it's pretty rare that she rides in my truck, lol.

My wife getting the 2013 Rav4 from her Aunt was a safety motivated decision, her old 03 Accord wasn't cutting anymore and we needed a better baby hauler.

If I had it my way I'd be driving vehicles from the 60s and 70s. People get annoyed with me enough when I'm slow off the line in my 20 year old truck.
Really it's mostly other peoples fault I even think about it haha.

It's too bad I just left work or I'd Photoshop a little Milwaukee impact wrench in there

It's also what's putting me off getting a manual as a DD. Over half my commute is stop and go inching along crap, and it just seems annoying.

A question for you. You said you've used marvel mystery oil to clean up intake parts before. Would it work for cleaning valves that are out of the head?
