Parts/tools are on order for TB, WP and radiator. Just need to run down to Toyota for the crank bolt and red fluid

Yeah I've got the champion one and ever since people have been having issues, I don't wanna risk it blowing out on a trail. I'm getting the one Ben has been swapping to a few times. OSC 1985 and yes I'm a manual

So, did you just let the muffler shop "have" your old CAT Converter?
They make a nice chunk of change from them!!!

It is a fake hood scoop that the previous owner put on. Tbh I like the looks of it just not the fact that it’s fake. Thinking about putting a supercharger in there though and that way I have a reason to put an actual hood scoop on

When I bought it the previous owner said that he had a after market one that didn’t fit right and scuffed it up, so he then went back to oem

Mine is just like yours however it rubs on the inside 90° lip of the OEM plastic bumper top.

The Krown oil keep it from rusting too bad. My front end sure looks better than my rear end! At a distance you hardly notice it.

Lots of parts on order. Didn't really plan to do anything to this truck but need to update some parts that are 21 years old. Like the tired leaf springs and suspension, head lights, lower ball joints, swaybar bushings, bump stops, and front grill. New tires and some 4runner wheels are also getting put on.
I will be sure to post some pics in a few weeks once its all done. Here is before

Haha I remember seeing that. Good to note, I’ll be sure the radiator is one of the last things to get unboxed and installed

Either 01-04s or they might be Jungle Flares actually. Which Im not sure are made any more or not.

The front one seems wider than an 01-04 to me.

i do like the colormatched grill, but PO painted the original chrome grill so its chipping/peeling in the center... itll have to get redone eventually, but ill have to decide then if i want to colormatch it again or paint it black. ill keep you posted lol

My first car was a lowered/modded mk3 VW gti... then i had a lowered/modded BMW e36... im plenty used to the oil stains haha

i guess the harley is step one! gotta get the bigger stuff done with that and then convince the wife i need more down the line haha.

When ever I have the wheels cranked to the left while in reverse, my front driver side wheel makes an awful rubbing/grinding sound. I have looked everywhere for where it may be rubbing but I can’t seem to find it. My first guess was the tires I just put on are bigger but they are the exact same size as my previous set. So I started looking to see if it’s rubbing on my brake lines or any control arms but don’t see any signs of it. Anyone might have a clue what it could be?

FWIW, crank bolt is a reusable part. It’s not TTY.

CBI/Prinsu cab rack; pricey but form and function are great. Very versatile rack. They RARELY go on sale. Even on BF they limit the sale period to just a few hours. If you are considering one, I wouldn’t recommend waiting for a sale given the current and projected impacts of inflation.
