2023 Tacoma spied?

Hood shape and slope, led headlights and vertical rectangular grille openings just below the led headlights, front grille shape, seem to match—-
22 Tundra. lol

 

This is TW, you have to get your licks in when you can.

 

It is a TUNDRA.
It has A pillar grab handles on driver and passenger sides.

 

Except the guy that took the photos says its the smallest truck he has ever seen...

 

Yeah that is the confusing part.
But then why would any small truck even need A pillar grab handles?
Maybe it was shipped with smaller wheels and tires just for transportation reasons or shortage of everything reasons lol.

 

Go figure, maybe a new tiny compact to compete with the Maverick and Santa Cruz.

That would be a 6 lug Prius.

 

Could be the lower trim Tundras since the only thing we’ve seen so far is the pro

Gotta agree. In the second photo the top of the hood just comes up to the guy's (in the stripped shirt) belly. And being that low, why the need for the running boards?

TNGA platform. Pretty safe bet the Tacoma will look similar.

 

That wrap is literally done to confuse. It may have just looked small.

Also.... They don't even test trucks with the actual body sometimes... Just the drivetrain.

We can speculate but it really doesn't show anything. Could be a BMW truck or something for all we know.

 

That definitely looks like the new X-runner! LOL!!! I was able to snap this last week in Phoenix. Definitely a rivian not real confusing when he was behind me. Seen the rivian truck few times on expressway same kind of camouflage. BTW I’m not a electric vehicle advocate.

 

Yeah. It’s pretty Freudian. Or…or it’s TFL getting a ton of advertising dollars off basically nothing. So hard to tell.

With everyone saying it's too small, why can't this just be a new truck to rival that POS Ford just released?

 

maybe the tacoma will become the compact truck. and they will introduce a new mid size truck . and the Tundra will be the full size truck. with the new mid-size and tundra sharing the same frame.
