Crypto as a “long hold” sounds nice until it tanks and I wish I made better decisions. But what fun is that?

 

I'm still long crypto. In 10 years we'll both be glad we held. Here's where I fucked up. I should have sold when LINK doubled my profit. Then I could have bought more close to bottom. I bought at an average of $25. If I sold at $50 then bought back in at $20 my I could have 2.5X the amount of link I have now. That mistake will not happen again.

 

That’s what I meant about better decisions. Once it tanks I wish I had sold, but while it’s going up, I’m just going to hold because I’m long. It’s just trying to mess with my mind

 

I’m happy I’ve sold BTC since 2017 through that 4 year bear market. Still adding.

 

So apparently the markets dove because of the SEC crackdowns on Chinese companies.

So that FARM coin I mentioned about 5 hours ago has me up about 25% already since then. Keep it goin.

I haven't had mine moved over to the warrant agent either. When I first spoke with E-Trade they told me that I could exercise them from my broker. I also found some supporting evidence of that in GTii's website.

My thought was, if I think I’ll care about having the right to buy a few hundred shares at 2.75 in the future, then I’ll just buy a few thousand at under 1.50 instead. So that’s what I did. I bought more shares after the April warrant deadline than I had before.

 

My thought is I have 250 warrants between my IRA and play account. If, and that's a huge fucking IF, this thing actually takes off I'm going to want to exercise them. I'd much prefer to do that via my broker. That keeps them on the hook for any delays or failures to exercise.
