That link didn't copy correctly, but if you go to cars.com and look for a Pro with MT you'll find it.

Except that they don't exist in the wild, and in order to get a manual you have to skip virtually every single other option?

That wasn’t true when I bought my 2021 Offroad. But last December was a different time and I got a huge discount off MSRP.

It worked for me. I sent them an email. They're over 7 hours away but I kind of expect that. At least both of my trades are Silverados so maybe I can tow one behind the other.

I just looked to see if a lunar pro even existed.

    Manuals suck anyway. :D

They called me, the truck is sold predictably. However, he did say they can take orders! They're about 7 hours from me, so if I can't find someone within maybe 150 miles of me who will take an order, I'll be calling them up. So maybe that tip paid off after all! Thanks, @jayuu!

I have not looked. I am not shopping for a truck. I got mine back in 2017. They still made a 2.7 with the 5 speed manual.

    Good luck!

I'm just hung up on the same price point for both. A fully loaded Gladiator is a lot more truck than a Pro by a huge margin.

A few things I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Correct that you cannot order one like you can with other manufacturers. Basically you can build one like you can already do on their website and then the dealership basically has to wait for one matching that spec to get built and claim it (or something along those lines).

I'm curious what options you're looking for on the TRD Off Road that would cause it to be more than a TRD Pro. I'm guessing you're trying to option it out fully and comparing the price to an entry level Pro. The TRD Off Road and Pro are 90% the same truck. The only difference is the Pro has a more aggressive suspension and a beefier skid plate. The rest are all either cosmetic or something you can get for the TRD Off Road. They even have the same tires.

Don't be afraid to reach out on those websites. They aren't necessarily all gone tomorrow. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Mine was purchased through Auto Trader at a dealership 2 hours away from me when the used car market was just heating up. It had been on there for a little while according to Auto Trader. Always worth an inquiry.

Buyer probably got it for $45,000 before taxes and fees.

Can I just say - I really appreciate everyone's help here. You guys offered real advice, even going so far as to look for trucks for me, and didn't fanboy it - if you thought the Jeep was as good or a better deal, you weren't afraid to say so. This is a tough thing to find. I mean, every comment here was worthwhile and helpful and none of it was spammy douche BS. I figured I'd get roasted here for even considering something other than a Toy in a Toy forum but not so. What a great community! You guys really made my crappy afternoon sitting alone in a hotel room better. Now I REALLY want a Taco!

...but sorry, you guys are still not awesome enough to make me want an auto SR5 access cab..... :)

I have a good friend that drives the Gladiator. He hauls all kinds of stuff with it and loves it. His is a fully optioned Ruby with all kinds of aftermarket mods. Expensive mofo. I like the bigger cab it has but the Tacoma double cab is good enough for me and my dog. If I need more room we jump in the 4Runner. Otherwise we take the Corvette.

What part of the US are you in? If you like, I can send an email over to the GM of the dealer I use and find out if it’s even possible to order a 2021 Pro now. I’ll get the truth from him.
