    What’s the going rate for a 2.7 tune? I have VfTuner, but apparently the promise of ‘tune as many trucks as you want’ went the way of the dodo bird unless you want to invest deep.

    If you are on the new software, vfc files are supposed to have a faster flash and “play nicer” with the new software.

    Wrong. The "error" message mentioned in the instructions is "License information is broken or does not exist" NOT a memory address access violation. I received a memory access message similar to the one you incorrectly replied to.

    My error message was: "Access Violation at address 004488FF3 in module 'VF Tuner.exe' Read of Address FFFFFFFF" while installing vfTuner 1.3.1.3

    Same tunes just on new software with VIN crediting now. New software is essentially just a different file format (vfc now instead of vft). No reason to change to a different file format for a retune or anything as kdmax is right where pretty much everyone wants it to be.

    I’m getting the tune this Friday and have a question. I will be pulling a small off grid type trailer with a rtt and some gear but not a lot. Will that be a problem after I get the tune? Is there a learning period of something like that after getting a tune? Like a break in period? Tia

    Nope. You will be fine. It gets better after a few tanks of gas, but is fine right away.

    Re Flashed from SLT to WifeTip yesterday. Thanks @TacoManOne. I tried the SLT for awhile and realized it was still too jerky on take off for my stock setup and I don’t tow anything. So far so good.
