Tire sizes vary despite being labeled the same. Your new tires are not worn down at all.

If you've gotten an alignment recently it could be that as well.

Fender liners or mud flap would be my guess as to what is rubbing. You should be able to see marks on the tire.

You can gain some clearance by giving your bed a little lift. Just put a couple of thick washers between the frame and the bed at each of the six places the bed bolts to the frame. I did, and it worked great. My tailgate rubbed a little on my OEM bumper, but the biggest problem was in the winter with just a little snow on the bumper the tailgate wouldn't go all the way down. Lifting the bed just a little made a big difference.

Got myself some GoTreads traction boards so I could tuck them in behind my spare tire carrier. Didn't want those big surfboards sitting on my rack! Perfect fit.20210731_170912.jpg 20210731_170212.jpg 20210731_170146.jpg

Put my new radiator in today, and replaced all 4 door speakers with nvx 6x8s. I can't believe I never replaced those crappy stock speakers earlier

Been messing around finishing my rear diy ‘ez topper tent’ . Gotta just get some more Velcro sewed on for the bottom but I think it came out pretty decent.
Top looks to sag a bit, but in the wind for 2 hours nothing came loose.

Just need a bed sheet for my
Memory foam pad and it’s all ready!

might want to consider the tack weld for the steering column, if you have play in it. One of the best and inexpensive repairs I have made on my truck!

Refreshed coolant with Toyota red, drained the block and radiator. Got close to 8 quarts out. Good for another couple of years.
I also replaced a broken plastic hinge on my drivers side vent window, access cab.

Added 4 more tie downs in the bed so I can have dual redundant tie downs for my motorcycle. The factory ones pulled out once when hauling a heavy transmission so I don’t trust them

Well, my new steering rack was meant to show up today, and I was going to be buddies with @DashMaple and @SiberianTacos.

However, despite me waiting patiently at home all day, and UPS saying that it was delivered to the "rear door" at 4:15pm, no brown truck ever showed up to my house and now I have to deal with a UPS claim. Lovely.

    :annoyed: :angrygirl: :censored:

Well, since I had to tear into the dash anyhoo, I "hopefully" fixed the drone rattle from hell [so far so good], swapped the vent selector module that has been clicking for like a year, swapped the ignition cylinder that locked up on me last week, and . . .
thanks to an airhead mom that was busy talking on her flipping phone 3 cars away instead of watching her 3 yr old :annoyed:,
I just damn near ended the little tike. I was already starting to backup when I just saw a flash in my passenger mirror. Otherwise, he was toast!

So, I now have . . . a Pioneer AVS-5800 with a backup twist! I have tweaked the camera adjustment to angle down just a bit more than what is pictured here.
