Pardon me for my ignorance but I’m trying to make an educated decision. I have a ‘21 TRD OR with the factory lift. I was able to source the old FJ rock crawler rims for it in graphite. I need to acquire four TOMS for the rims prior to mounting Falken AT/3’s. The ‘21 trucks have a new TPMS so do I buy new ‘21 TPMS or standard ones from previous years? Are the wheel specific for shape and mounting?

Why not transfer the ones you have to new rims?

keeping them for winter. Gonna mount some good studded snows. The roads around her in the People’s Republic get so much damned salt I don’t want to screw up hard to obtain rims.

Ahhh got it. I am no expert, but I always assumed the tpms would work in any rim. I would be buying oem. What does the dealer say?

I asked discount tire to source the sensors for my truck and they asked me for the MY and looked it up in their system. Seems like the safest way to go, besides the dealer, so that your have some recourse if they don't work.

They advised me to get them myself as the factory ones are $100 per.
