Selling some used 2.5x14" smooth body shocks by King. They are in great shape, shafts have no pitting and they are freshly rebuilt with new seals, oil, and nitro. Reason I'm selling, I messed up a measurement and they are .5" too big for my lower axle mounts. They are not valved for a tacoma. I planned on revalving them before installing as they came off a Ford truck, but they might ride fine with a heavier overland rig. These would be perfect for anyone running the Archive Garage shock relocation for spring over axle. They will not work with stock mounting locations, must have a 2.5" shock relocation to be applicable.

Asking $800 shipped (shocks will have to be de-pressurized for shipping but nitro is cheap). Located in Mira Loma, southern CA.

I need to learn how to weld. Otherwise it would be simple. These were supposed to be a temporary place holder, so I don’t really want to sink time and money into them.

It still wouldn’t be simple. I’d argue that cutting the existing mounts off would be more challenging than welding new ones on. If they’re temporary then just limit the travel via the bump stop. I’m assuming they’re 1/2” too long?

They're 16x8" btw. I love em, but haven't been able to find a 5th for a spare for years. SCS only did one production run of the 16x8"

Pic from back when I had matching LCA skids. Truck was prettier back then.

So do I, but then I wouldn’t be selling. If you haven’t installed your relocation, these will work though since you’ll be able to set the lower mount.
