you talking about stock tundra rack width? I would never attempt to run one that isint shortened to Tacoma length. I’ve got one that was modified by a member on here and it works awesome!

Has to be shortened. I got mine from Solo, but there's a couple guys making them now.

    Exactly.

Apparently the LC200 doesn't need to be shortened. I'd like to see a specs comparison to the Tundra and to the taco especially in regards to stroke. If it gets closer to the stroke of the taco or more that would be great.

Looking at my oem tacoma rack the actual usable range is about 163-164mm. It has more stroke but with the inner tie rods installed it reduces the travel by a couple millimeters since the rack/rod can't recess into the housing with the inners on.

Modified tundra rack usable stroke is around 134mm.

in the Dirt Lifestyle youtube channel he just put up a new vid and hes still waiting on parts and isnt overly happy about that situation. he didnt mention Marlin specifically, but pretty sure that is one of them.

I just watched it. He's waiting on fenders and stuff and those are long waits. I think he stepped into a more "custom" low volume type build with companies that don't just have tons of parts sitting on the shelf like he's use to. That is no defense to MC as I think they are totally junk at this point and I'm assuming ol' Mike promised him some things that haven't come to fruition just yet.

he did say the only thing he has gotten were coilovers and i think axles? if he has gotten the Marlin Kit im sure he would have said so. if thats the case, that pretty much means he didnt jump to the front of the line over everyone else

Right and it could also mean he was promised it by x date and like those that have invested been delayed with little or no communication

I think only one person got the kit, besides that 4runner with the 40's. I keep hearing "a few more weeks" every 4 weeks.

Does anybody have a clue to what is their hold up? Their could not be more than only two or three reasons top to why their is a delay of this length?

Considering long / infinite lead times are a common theme in dealing with Marlin with products they’ve offered for decades when looking at reviews, an introduction of an entirely new product is not likely to miraculously change that trend. Speculate as you might what reasons could be causing this pattern. Again, long time customers / people who keep track of their reviews have seen consistent patterns.

One time I heard it was powder coating that was the delay. But that seems like it was a month ago at least.

I did see on reddit that Big Mike was saying he was heading to Japan. Maybe things stop when he leaves.

I am referring to what seems to be years of long delays on a number of projects/products.
