    Was fun to watch.

Quality suspension does go a long way, but normally, the truck is already far more capable than the person driving it.

    Same goes for firearms.

It's especially funny always having watched someone with an R700 in a chassis or SCAR and an S&B or ATACR scope, hitting larger than 1 MOA at only 200-300 yards.

The gear doesn't make the shooter, it's technique and experience.

I was kinda wondering the same thing. What percentage of peeps that go all out actually utilize the upgraded suspension to its fullest extend. Obviously we are on a Tacoma forum and more than a normal percentage of peeps will use it to a great extend. But I'd bet most don't. I could be wrong though?

We need a standardized suspension test that simulates real world conditions. Next time I’m out, I’ll measure the speed bumps at the mall.

Guess you could say my Corvette had long travel; made it through those bumps on stock suspension :burp:

Guess all it needs now is armor and a roof top tent.

@RobP62 can probably get you all the speed bump measurements from the malls in MD.

OK Maybe we could all build an APP that positions all of the speed bumps on a map that are around all the local malls with height, ascending and descending angles etc! How cool would that be?

    RTT + armor = overlander

Rotopax isn't a requirement but strongly recommended for the likes

That was really entertaining. I dig it. I felt it comes down to driver experience though.

 I've been through some places where I got stuck that people before me didn't and visa versa! There's a lot of variables for sure. But that's why we wheel! It's the fun of the unknown!

That's not fair to say Eric. It hurts too. I am sure there is at least one mall in Md I have not been to...........yet.

And I'll have you know that while the summer is somewhat tamer just navigating the through shopping carts and seniors, the winter is a whole other story!

Which speed bump? Asphalt, tire stop, curb, two-legged..... be aware, some two-legged are bigger than others.

No offense taken at all Brother. Malls are tricky to say the least. Not everyone has the stones to attempt some of the stuff me and my Jeep buddies do. As a matter of fact, the other day when Aunt Annie's had a fresh batch of honey glazed come out it was a mad dash to get there and a lot of people had a lot of mishaps. It gets sketchy there for sure. :muscleflexing:

Love Donut, but using approach, break-over, and departure angles as one of the three main metrics of suspension quality is just plain stupid. There needed to be more high speed testing, that's really where you're getting what you pay for with high end suspension systems.

Hopefully the rest of this season with the Tacomas is a little better.

In the process of putting 5160, hammer hangers, 6112 and UCA's on for the past few weeks. Friend asked me why I am doing it. I said honestly, these things don't make the truck any more capable, just more comfortable.
