What's the percentage of EV adoption in the source countries? I am not picking on the ME immigrants, it is just the latest wave of world migration.
What percentage of new Nordic population are first generation immigarnts? We know, that historically, 1st generation will be very slow to adapt to the host country's societal norms. That's why we have Little Italies and Chinatowns in US. Their kids will be more like their hosts, same as with recent South American immigrants in US.
Great Britain would be a great subject to study to look at the adoption of green trends.
They have a history of robust immigration, yet they still have native enclaves, just like Nordic countries do now. Culturaly they are close to Europe than us.
Is there a difference in the rates of green adoption based on education, cultural background, newness to the country, men vs women, etc?
Econometrics is one of my specialties. You learn not to ignore any variables. Sometimes what you think matters, does not really affect a trend, sometimes main variables are obvious, sometimes they are not. Need to build multiple models with multiple inputs and keep whittling down till you reach the core 3 inputs.
Let the data lead you, do not lead the data.

Again, I’m not sure where you heard this or why you are expecting this from every investment. Also, 2T on the infrastructure bill isn’t all for green energy.

i know that its not all for green energy. and we should all want the best ROI possible when talking about spending all of ̶o̶u̶r̶ our great grand kids money in such a bill.

Some things you can’t simply put in financial terms. What’s the ROI on our military spending? I’m not saying we shouldn’t spend on the military but what we get from the military isn’t a large financial return.

Our great grandkids are going to have to pay for our GHG emissions, one way or the other.

Unless you count things like Internet, microproccessors, Teflon, Kevlar, satellite navigation/GPS. All began as military projects.

At least they'll be able to breath cleaner air while paying it back.

All true, but how much does the US Treasury or each individual tax payer financially benefit from the sale/use of that technology?

Kinda like they do not financially benefit from green technologies either? Usually green mean more money out of taxpayer's pocket.
GPS made my life easier. Farmers have to pick up dead birds killed by wind turbines. Green made their lives more difficult.

PS how many taxpayers now earn their living because of the internet? Or able to save money by buying products and services online?
PPS US Gov does not collect taxes on income from GPS, Kevlar, etc sales?

Some info on EV charging emissions. Seems Colorado is the worst state to charge in but still beneficial to own.

You got me pegged all wrong my man! If the infrastructure was set for all this ev stuff I’m all for it but The county better be building some nuke plants very soon. I don’t care what they make money out of as long as it works and I coached girls softball for 13 years and countless hours sitting on a bucket catching my daughter’s pitches in the backyard.

I think nukes are definitely a good way to go, though they have their own challenges; France seems to do well enough with them, but their form of government wouldn't work with our current civic makeup.

Wasn't pegging you as sexist or anything else; I was trying to say that in times of real duress the people and governments of North America have made real, significant sacrifices in ways small and large; I see most of the obstacles tied to the future of transportation as minor and non-issues. Like, I love having a truck and driving to and in the mountains. If my next truck takes 30 more minutes to charge up during the same trip to the mountains but doesn't contribute to a huge smog cloud over the millions of people that live in my area, well, I'll be okay with that too..

check out /realtesla on reddit for the owners that have been bent over by Elon. They seem to be growing in numbers. Musk is on borrowed time with too many plates spinning and a lot of cocaine caked around his nostrils.
