On a brighter note, (to me at least) I watched a guy walk stomach first into a mailbox as I drove by, purely because he was too busy checking out the truck to watch where he was walking.

 

Thanks. We're hoping it hasn't gone far at this point and got caught in time, but the last checkup wasn't promising. All I care to share at this point, not one to really put that out there. I like making people laugh and go WTF...

 

Watch out he’ll sue your ass for pain and suffering.

Well I be damned if this hasn't been a helluva week! Just found out my neighbor across the street (the one with the Cuda) is never coming back home. He had a bout with cancer a while back. He beat it, but looks like it returned quickly. Yesterday some friends were checking up on him and he wouldn't answer the door. An EMT from the fire department was finally able to make contact. I was out front doing some yard work so I seen/heard all this. He didn't know who anybody was and fought the paramedics. Learned a little while ago he has pretty much an inoperable brain tumor that has swelled. Poor guy, I think he may be just barely 60. No family left but a brother that doesn't have much to do with him. Gonna be interesting to see what happens to the estate. He was an odd character, but was always nice towards me. When I worked out of town or the odd shift he would clear our driveway when it snowed. Was always helpful.

 

That sucks.
