    Careful!!!:duel:

I got it whooped finally.....I think....

Also lesson learned; because I had to take the radiator back out of the vehicle, I ran the shroud bolts in the stamped holes while it was out. Much easier than getting the first one that would line up started from blank. I used air ratchet to run a bolt in and my die grinder to massage the shroud bolts.
Edit; massage the shroud hole....not the bolt.
Oh boy....he said shroud hole :beavisd:

Calling it a day. Radiator replaced, new serpentine belt while in there, motor oil and rear differential oil changed on wifes Tacoma. Wound new string on weed eater in there, wife mowed and did all yard work today. Now relax, going for pizza. Think I'm going to stream A Quiet Place 2

Oh!! Forgot to mention I diagnosed the charging system malfunction on my quad!
The voltage regulator is toast! It's a 2005, I wonder if they just go bad? Suzuki King Quad 700. Going to online shop see what they cost

I used to work at a dealership and sold those when they were new. I loved those things. If it’s still going and not burning oil due to the air filter issue I’d put a reg in it and hammer down!

Pizza was great! Pizza Hut stuffed crust pepperoni. Movie streaming...not so great, started out ok and looked like it was going to be good, then it just quit. Too slow of download speed perhaps?:annoyed:

Uses no oil and a good runner, it has low miles and hours but due for a oil change.
I ordered a DB electric regulator from Amazon. If that doesn't work, I'll go to genuine parts and possibly rectifier.

    Happy Birthday @buyobuyo

We have a real third generation Italian deli/store not too far away, my go to for a good pizza, they deliver, just not out in the way back land of dirt and mud where I live.

I have no idea about movie streaming, we have a DSL line, the best of the best for out here -- one step above dial up. :turtleride:

I just gave up on it for tonight. Maybe it will download through the night and I can watch it tomorrow.
I told work I'd come in tomorrow morning to help the instrumentation and control dudes a hand. I'll need to be on point. I got everything ready, staged in a bucket. Cordless drill, drill bits, center punch, burr bit, chamfer bit, file, couple small trash bags and roll of tape, few rags to clean up. I'll tape a bag below the drilling operation to catch chips. I'll need to grab a can of WD-40 for drill cooling. Couldn't leave the WD-40 staged in my bucket...in case it burst into flames. Lol

Ive always loved 2nd and 3rd gen Runners, and with the crazy prices of everything these days, it might make sense to buy something like that that is easier to work on and will last you another 20 years...

I had DSL until last year. For what I did it was fine, I don't stream or game online.

I don't think it would be for me. That's a large sum for a how many year old vehicle? 27 years? I guess if you wanted to add to a collection, but dang $31k ? Wouldn't another 10k get you a brand new one? My bff had one similar years and had it in for head gaskets more than once. Overall it was still a 250k mile vehicle.

Last sentence makes sense. I"m probably keeping my 12 year old truck for another 10 or so but new frame
