The Atlas is a midsize, so if 7 people (kids or not) I think the Tahoe would be better.

My niece likes her Atlas, but it's just 2 people and a bulldog.

They're both better choices than my last rental. I had to drive a Caravan because no other choice were available when I needed a rental.

Just finished booger welding a new flex pipe in after ghetto patching it for our vacation down south. Welding under a vehicle on your back with limited room sucks, but now the Landcruiser doesn't sound like an obnoxious piece of shit.

You know what the worst part about driving to work at 7:30 on Monday morning is?

Spotify on shuffle. Merge on the highway, and what song comes on? It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Fuck off Jackson. Not right now.

Good morning. Made a tiny bit more progress on my trailer over the weekend. I've got the frame in the garage and I'm stripping all the old paint and undercoating off it. As difficult as this has been so far, I'm not looking forward to getting the undercoat off of the bottom of the tub. I might try to scrape a majority off with a heat gun and putty knife before sandblasting it.

If you're going to sandblast why worry about the paint? But wouldn't one of the paint stripping gels that you wrap in plastic wrap for a couple days be a little easier. I forget the name it'll come to me in the middle of the night

Sandblasting the undercoating off has been slow AF on the frame so far, and that's just small areas. I'm gonna try with some more aggressive media, but with the stuff I had this weekend it took forever. I thought about using some aircraft stripper to take the paint off, but ultimately decided on mechanical removal instead (sandblast, grind) to add some texture to the surface and give the next coating something more to 'bite' into for better adhesion.

That's sound thinking. Maybe hit it with the stripper then sandblast it to clean out up? I'm lazy tho. Anti-elbow grease whenever possible.
