Guys, quick question. The 2020-21 on Tacomas have a wiring harness pre-done in the bed to add bed lights (switched with the overcab light). I was wondering if I could use the harness to add a pair of S2s for rear facing lighting. Any thoughts?

I’m assuming you’re doing that to use the existing switch? If so, the existing wiring is too thin. Get a relay, thick enough wires and run from the battery to the back. Connect the relay to the bed light wire with the new wire and u’re good to go.

Thanks, you’re confirming what I thought might be the issue, wiring gauge. Appreciate the help.
