Their reference truck looks to have 4600s, which is a nice added level to the tests. Something to think about for the "I want to keep my truck stock" crowd (like me, except now I wish I had gone for a 1-2" lift because I want to replace my tired leaf springs with Deavers).

I was surprised at their... casual... approach to working with coil springs.

    @BartMaster1234

I refuse to buy Windows; what's the new thing to do?

Running 10 Pro and I never ran a legit one; was thinking of finally getting rid of that "need to activate" template on the bottom right.

Hey I just got to complete of my life's bucket list items. I drove Black Bear solo without being part of a group or having a spotter. That old LX470 is making some memories for sure.

No problem coming down the steps with all the weight. It rained while we were up on the trail. Telluride is the town below.

You can buy licenses for like $5 on eBay, so I’ve been told.

Nicely done man. How was it solo?
*I've had that on a "maybe," list for a long time. (I'm not a group guy.) Seems like a puckering trail.

Is it the only OS you're running or is it on a side machine for misc. work?

    Intrigued.

I'll shoot you a text :burp:

My main PC, the one I use for gaming, etc.

I built it 6+ years ago, so yeah it's old. But still runs modern games on 2K as it's an I7 6770k with dual 1080TI's

I'm long due for an upgrade :anonymous:

Ah ok. I was going to say, sometimes its worth just plunking the cash down and avoiding headaches.
I haven't run a dedicated Windows box in a long time though so licensing fees aren't in my wheelhouse so much now so I don't know what a non business license runs.
I tried switching again in 2020, via a Lenovo P1 to replace a Macbook Pro, but the hardware quality control wasn't there. I'll give it another go at some point.

    Bitch, your rig barely works

*refers to the many "my pc crashed" texts/posts*

All I'm doing is getting rid of the "must activate" ghost in the right corner

I was a long time Linux Fedora user, running Windows on VMWare but that was at my old place when I was hosting my own server for gaming on a dedicated rig.

I've always stayed away from Apple for that reason you describe, plus I build my own rigs.

30XX series cards are insanely priced though so I'm keeping my setup for awhile :playball:

The trail cam was a huge help. I've got some pictures of how it works. I added weight to the rear and used the hand break when easing down the steps so the front wheels wouldn't try to dig in and cause weight to transfer to the front. Think like landing an airplane on the rear wheels and letting the front touch down after the pilot has control on the ground via tear brakes.

Oh I like Apple I just don't like the prices now for what I get, but too much of my work is basically Mac based its just life and I've been on em since the late 90s, can't complain though. The quality control issues I've had have all been PC based. Companies seem to pump out too many friggin models and can't get their shit together on tighter manufacturing. I run Linux on the side though, so my old laptops and desktops eventually turn into that. I love my old 11" Macbook Air on Ubuntu right now. If Adobe and a few other software companies supported Linux it would be a game changer.
