Pizza was great! Pizza Hut stuffed crust pepperoni. Movie streaming...not so great, started out ok and looked like it was going to be good, then it just quit. Too slow of download speed perhaps?:annoyed:

Uses no oil and a good runner, it has low miles and hours but due for a oil change.
I ordered a DB electric regulator from Amazon. If that doesn't work, I'll go to genuine parts and possibly rectifier.

    Happy Birthday @buyobuyo

We have a real third generation Italian deli/store not too far away, my go to for a good pizza, they deliver, just not out in the way back land of dirt and mud where I live.

I have no idea about movie streaming, we have a DSL line, the best of the best for out here -- one step above dial up. :turtleride:

I just gave up on it for tonight. Maybe it will download through the night and I can watch it tomorrow.
I told work I'd come in tomorrow morning to help the instrumentation and control dudes a hand. I'll need to be on point. I got everything ready, staged in a bucket. Cordless drill, drill bits, center punch, burr bit, chamfer bit, file, couple small trash bags and roll of tape, few rags to clean up. I'll tape a bag below the drilling operation to catch chips. I'll need to grab a can of WD-40 for drill cooling. Couldn't leave the WD-40 staged in my bucket...in case it burst into flames. Lol

Ive always loved 2nd and 3rd gen Runners, and with the crazy prices of everything these days, it might make sense to buy something like that that is easier to work on and will last you another 20 years...

I had DSL until last year. For what I did it was fine, I don't stream or game online.

I don't think it would be for me. That's a large sum for a how many year old vehicle? 27 years? I guess if you wanted to add to a collection, but dang $31k ? Wouldn't another 10k get you a brand new one? My bff had one similar years and had it in for head gaskets more than once. Overall it was still a 250k mile vehicle.

Last sentence makes sense. I"m probably keeping my 12 year old truck for another 10 or so but new frame

I have a tape trick I used many times over the years -- make a apron of masking tape under where you are drilling, chips/dust fall on tape and stick, fold tape on itself and dispose.

Works especially well in offices -- some office folks will have a cow :rant:if there is one speck of sheet rock dust left in their office.(I think some of them go out of their way to look...)

You have a new frame? I worked at Pilgrim power plant and stayed in Fall River, rented a room from a guy's ad on Craigslist. Still stay in touch with him. Anyway I was surprised how rusted out some of the vehicles were up there.
If you have a new frame, keep it clean it should last. I noticed tonight a few spots on my wifes 2013 that I should wire wheel clean and touch up.

How often did the coolant get changed? My approach has always been it the engine has a reputation for head gaskets change the coolant every 2 years.

Ahhh, the cordless vacuums of today are magnificent. Sometimes I have to work in the control room, everyone gets nervous. I have to be extra careful in there, where I'm drilling and cutting. Can't have chips getting somewhere and shorting something out, have to use extreme caution.

I'm not sure about that, or never heard that mentioned before about the coolant.
I have heard that when GM went to dexcool, they had all kinds of problems and had to reengineer gasket materials.

My previous employer was so cheap I ordered a cordless drill and got this:

So then I ordered a "heavy duty" cordless drill and got this:
