I think so too. They said they couldn’t get the holes to line up to get the bolts through.? I will rediscuss with them this week as we will be re checking torque values and alignment

after driving for a week letting the suspension settle. With all the new bushings etc.

Just show them the plates and how they work. Once you figure it out they’ll see what they were doing wrong.

Worse case scenario I will do a at home alignment get it as close as I can then take it to them and dial in the last little bit

I've got the taco tabs and these are my alignment results. I've got TC uppers. This was after wheeling and driving with a bad alignment for a couple of monthsreceived_524100312205995.jpg

Looks like you need the outboard setting for the camber also, I’d try it at least if it’s neutral now.

Truck drove great after the alignment. Still slowly pulls to the right but it's not super noticeable, but that's either a Tacoma thing or because the roads are crowned a little

It's a caster thing. Not sure if your lower control arm bushings are worn. If you fix the half a degree that's off, should drive straight as an arrow.

It probably is the bushings considering they're my factory originals. I'll probably replace them this coming winter so I have something to do

Unless I'm missing something you may have said it does not appear that they aligned your truck at all but gave it the 'ole a toe-and-go treatment.

My guess is that your LCA cams are seized and they gave up, or did not try. Did they say anything about not being able to turn the cams? Anyway, the alignment sheet would suggest to me a pull to the right due to overwhelming negative camber on the LF.

Just left the alignment shop. Owner is allowing me to come in on Friday morning and work with one of his guys to install the cams
Max rear neutral front and then the owner and I will work on the alignment in the afternoon. Will zero out the UCA ( icon Billet).

Also having accutune off-road building me a complete new set of shocks ( front and rear) to replace my current fox 2.5’s. Deciding between fox or kings right now

used some come alongs with some creative rigging so we didn’t have to disassemble everything. Was able to get the “neutral” tabs in the camber slots. Already had the “Max” Caster tab in the back. Everything aligned much better dialing in the final adjustments with the Icon billet UCAs

Acutune off-road is building me a new set of Fox 2.5 CO w/DSC and eibach 14” 650lb coils.
Will go 2.5’ s in the rear with DSC Resi’s. Complete revalved and tuned for the truck hope to have them next month

Looking at everyone's caster #'s using taco tabs, looks like everyones maxxed out caster are all in the low 3's.
Are you able to get higher caster #'s, like in high 4's?
Are tacotabs max setting same as oem max?

Istalled jba uca's and about to install new lca's because alignment shop said one was frozen and couldnt get caster in 4's on bad lca.20220607_133121.jpg
    Thx

Just installed these to help with keeping my alignment in check when wheeling and to also try and gain some clearance for my 35s. Maxed out the rear for max caster and am running the neutral tabs up front. Definitely seemed to gain clearance at the firewall.. but may be rubbing the frame a bit more than I used to. I can't remember tbh. Wondering if I should try the Min or Max tabs for the front. My main concern is clearance at the firewall. We'll see what the numbers come back as tomorrow and I'll go from there.

Edit: came out pretty good and drives pretty good. Think im going to leave it for now.

OK, edit #2. Just went out to the mountains and did some camping. The truck drives fantastic! I have to imagine its mostly from the higher caster, but also the inherent camber correction that comes with it too. It feels much lighter or even more responsive. Definitely feels more stable at higher speeds and overall is just a better driving feel/experience. Less input into the steering wheel as well when on forest roads. Suspension just feels like its back in its happy place. I would honestly say more, if not all, lifter Tacomas would benefit greatly with shifting the LCA's and getting max caster.

    Looking for some advice/guidance.

I'm going to be getting the total chaos cam tab gusset kit installed next weekend. I have the taco tabs ready to go as well. I went to get an alignment about 2 weeks ago.

My concern is that when I go to install the TC gusset kit, my alignment will be out of wack until I can get it to an alignment rack the week after.

Below are my alignment specs from about 2 weeks ago. My question is can I install the taco tabs get when getting the TC kit installed and which plates should I install?

I'm not as concerned about camber since I'll have the alignment shop adjust that.

Is there something that I am missing?
