I installed new spark plugs at 90k miles. I got some Bosch double iridium ones that i hope work great.

While I was changing them, i noticed that there's buildup in the cylinder chambers. I need to take care of that soon.

 

Replaced an idler pulley today and tried to clean up the engine bay a bit.

 

First wash in three months.

 

Changed out yesterday. I hear lots that say copper but I've had no complaints with iridium. Lasts a little longer while staying gapped correctly. A little more expensive but not a crazy amount.

 

I got it from Hooke on Amazon. Not meant for that location but worked perfect.

Was getting some clearcoat failure on the plastic hood scoop insert piece (oddly enough, the ONLY place on the truck) so I rattle-canned it with paint from automotivetouchup.com. Very happy with the match and ease of application.

 

Used it like a truck and wheeled it…?

 

I installed side and tailgate lights. I am very visible now, especially in foggy and rainy days.

 

I am considering doing this to my "chrome" grille surround and possibly a replacement fender flare (1 has broken tabs). It appears that the paint quality from them is on par with the factory paint. What prep did you do to the plastic scoop. I am many things but a painter is not 1 of them. I read that poor prep on plastic parts is a guaranteed failure so seeking any advice.

Locked my keys in it at work, and then found out the key from a 2014 RAV4 unlocks my truck. So that’s interesting

 

Not sure how people feel about cold but cold weather camping is amazing. Just something to try if you never have.
