Maybe I'm alone here, but I'm not a fan of the ALWAYS on LED C-strip. Would prefer it only be illuminated when switched to "DRL" or above on the stock.

The C-bar is lit in two ways: DRL mode (full bright) and dimmed. The C-bar is is wired to the fuse box for full brightness, however, when you turn on the parking lights it will dim. I haven’t tried it but, I’m guessing if you don’t power the C-bar w the fuse box it will remain off until you get to the parking light settings at which point it will be dimmed. If you power the C-bar off the DRL wire, it might flash like a turn signal just like the OEM DRL does.

I'm sure this may be an obvious question, but why does compatibility start with 2012? I have 2010.

There was a grille/lights facelift on 2nd gen Tacomas from 2012-2015 to make them different than the earlier generation and are not compatible due to different shapes.

The look of these is what i've been searching for. I like the style, but until i hear what the verdict is from Crash, then ill hold off on purchasing.

Anyone with these have any real world input they could share? Or is it that bad? LOL

I ordered amber ones from retrofit. I’m stoked to get them.

    Also a side

Also a sidenote to this video, does anyone have the GTR Lighting switchbacks?

I had purchased a set of VLed switchbacks from a member but they were broken in the mail and werent able to be repaird.... So im not trying to spend another small fortune on blinkers alone. Curious of the quality for $75
