Very good info, thank you. I'm not really inclined to due most of the work myself but might look around for someone locally that would be able to do the work for less than a shop.

before I was a kickass mechanic with tools and knowledge :luvya: these kinds of comments really gave me imposter syndrome when I'd get 6 days in with my basic 30 piece socket/wrench set LOL

I’m missing something. Appears to be airing up after a mall crawl?

    My salesman.

He ran over a nail or something leaving work Saturday night, so he decided to leave the truck here as our shop is closed Sundays.

Being Monday, he'd take it to a nearby shop we work with for a patch job. Finds out he's got two tires with nails in them

So I made quick work to fill up his passenger rear, and driver front; if you look closely you can see how flat it is.

Most of that is just general maintenance for an older vehicle like any 1st gen Tacoma. You won't find one in new condition these days. Even if it has ultra low mileage, parts wear out with age and time.

Sorry to hear that dude. I think about it sometimes, my best friend has a GF that actually likes me pretty well and she's fun to get along with. But when they have kids I'll probably be alone again for a while, hopefully we get a while longer. A lot of my other friends are much older than me and have already had kids that have moved out so there is a breaking point I guess haha.

I went from a friend group that could fill a small town to like 2-3 friends. Lol getting older blows.

Someone should start up a singles website for people just looking for friends that don't have serious relationships or kids

Wait no that's my idea, I thought of it first. I'm gonna be rich

Still with IT trying to figure out what's wrong with my computer. Really it's just too old (2013) like all the computers here but the company is too cheap to invest in new ones for anybody until something like this happens. Hopefully I'll finally get a new one.

I haven't been able to update the OS on it in 2 years because Apple likes their planned obsolescence so much

My friend in IT told me that there are people in the warehouse still using DOS systems

New tires did great all day yesterday on the highway. Noticed they have a gnarly howl at 75-80 mph but I nor the gf minded.

Wishing i had another day off today to adventure, work calls though

First year I had my truck I annoyed the Toyota dealership so much by bringing it in for every little thing. Not to mention paying an arm and a leg. I think I finally spent enough time on TW to realize I needed to
A.) Realize old trucks are gonna do old truck things, especially if your taking them offroad every weekend.

B.) Buy some tools and learn how to start doing some shit myself

It's funny how little I care about stuff that would've bothered the hell out of me 5 years ago with this truck lol.

Yeah I have a friend who’s GF is cool with me. She even sat out in the garage with him when I welded on his truck. They seem to be a pretty functional couple and I’m glad I still get to hang out with the guy every few weeks.
