The old meets were fun, I went to one or two mod days back in 2012-2014. My dumbass forgot to get bushings for the Dakar springs but a few trips to summit it was solved.

On another note, the used car market is insane for these trucks and I've had a few notes left on my truck asking to buy it. Threw em right in the bin.

Hey y’all I will be out in Reno for school starting in fall, I’ve been hovering some. Once I’m out there I’ll definitely be looking for some places to go that are stock truck friendly. I’ve got decent tires on there and I do have a compressor to air down.

Some group runs would still be fun and will definitely be interested once I’m out there. Since I’ve got no winch I’m super careful when exploring solo but worst case I’ve got a shovel and know how to move rocks. Some traction boards are gonna be ordered soon once I can figure out how I want them mounted and secured in the bed.

as far as mod days go I’ll definitely attend and help others with stuff just so I can learn, but for now the truck is my daily and only vehicle so mods I’m doing are very limited. Now if something breaks I’m perfectly fine with upgrades.

also if anyone’s got a way to contact @kairo shoot me a pm. He and I became pretty good friends through the investment thread. He had a slight slip up and got a 30 day with no notice. Made a dupe and then messaged a mod asking why he was given a 30 day. Meant instant perma ban. He’s got a quicksand third gen. I think he posted in this thread a few times.

noted, and actually we know why he got the 30 day. mentioned name of a government worker who is consistently involved with the market and directions it moves. The name has been mentioned before in previous convos in the thread, even by the Mod usually in that thread. This time apparently it was a no no.

On the note of carrying a firearm, I assume bears is the main issue?

Interesting. Never had that issue before since Usually I'd stay away from those areas in Dallas and Phoenix, but Reno is significantly smaller than both of those cities so I can understand.
