Looks nice! I have 3M matte black on my hood (came on truck) and have been curious what would be best to use to protect it with. I can see the sun eating it if left untreated. Is the Dr. Beasley's specific for vinyl?

Thanks! The Dr. Beasley’s seems like the best (perhaps only) one that I could find as far as non-glossing. It was super easy to apply myself. I did two coats for extra protection. Hydrophobicity, UV protection, and man it’s so easy to clean. I’ve already wiped off dried up bird doodoo with nothing but a damp microfiber cloth and it came off no problem.

    here is the link:
    https://www.drbeasleys.com/matte-film-coating-kit.html

EDIT: and YES it is made specifically for MATTE vinyl!

That looks fantastic man. I've been wanting to paint my black taco that exact color. Did you do it yourself?

I tried and failed miserably several times at wrapping my roof. Honestly, I have trouble with detailed, slow work or anything that takes non slightly aggressive like behavior. That said, after my 4th attempt with cheapy wrap, I ended up with a passable job that does what I wanted it to do. Which was cover/protect my roof. Up close it is not great. I found small rust spots on the roof one day while I was cleaning my rack. My property has extremely tall pine tress which drop heavy, sometimes fully un-opened pine cones. They have been leaving little chips in the paint on the roof and rusting. After a good cleaning and rust removal/future preventive measures I wrappe it. With the roof rack installed the wrap job looks decent, the rack covered the not so great spots. Also added an OG Toyota Sticker for fun. Here is the video of the sticker and an idea on the wrap.

I love that look! I got the same issue. Low hanging branches on the trail, etc.

Here’s my attempt to wrap my roof. Kinda messed up around that brake light but oh well. Really like the digital camo look.

Does anyone know where a good place in Colorado to get your truck wrapped at and how much does it usually cost to wrap the whole truck?

I went through a phase where I had a shop wrap certain pieces in black multicam. Mainly had a custom decal done and did interior pieces and bottom of mirrors. At first I really liked it.

The bad news is that it all started peeling in six months. By then I was over it anyways so ended up pulling everything off. Had a new decal made, and went with a matte black 3M partial hood wrap. Has held up for a year now in the hot desert sun + wheeling.

Looks great. How's this holding up? And what brand/color did you go with for the camo? I have a black truck and am really tempted to do some kind of artic camo with subtle light gray accents in it.

Does anyone know where to find this camo wrap? I've been searching the interwebs but only see the normal non-faded camo patterns

Is that topo pattern on the roof rack visor a wrap too? If so, where did you find that?
