Got a new set of Cooper Evolution MT's and some DX4 Recon's on today and couldn't resist but to take them out and try 'em in the mud. Love everything about them, the look, the feel, the size upgrade, all of it <3

These are the two I used.

For the blanks near the 12v outlets:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dashboard-...on-Cable-Adapter-Fit-For-Toyota-/183910299262

And for the blanks on the left side of the steering wheel:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Toyota...-Female-Extension-Cable-Adapter-/123709118304

*The USB cables themselve are hot garbage. I suggest switching them out with better cables, such as:

I'd like to replace my factory speakers with something better. I have a regular cab and a stock navigation head unit (non JBL) that I'm keeping.

    Will I see any improvement?

You most certainly will sir. I have the stock head unit and when I switched out my factory speakers and factory tweeters......it was like night and day. Especially since I "sound matted" the truck. You matted your truck as well correct?

Removed the fender flares to add truck bed liner to them to cover up the missing clear coat and faded paint.

You will. Those stock speakers are garbage. I couldn't believe how light they were when I took them out. I also replaced my tweeters that I forgot to mention. I used these. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091YXXNQX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I just cut my old connectors off and put them on the new tweeters and they fit right in.

IMG_20210803_084810291.jpg Finally got my map and dome lights in the mail last night. It's been about a month since I ordered them. First they sent me a set for a 3rd gen then it took them awhile to get the right ones out to me. I figured they didn't have them in stock since Meso doesn't even have them. But https://www.runnin4tacos.com/ had them in stock in July. And I got the dual brightness dome light. These things are bright, I might say a little too bright.

I'm far from a painter myself :p; this was my first time taking on a project that involved re-painting any part of a vehicle. Per the instructions on the automotivetouchup, I started off with a 1000 grit sand (if you have rock chips or more major imperfections you may need to start more aggressive), and then did a wash with dawn dish soap to remove any residue or oils and let dry. And then just took my time with the different paint coats. My biggest issue was keeping crap that was floating around in the air from landing on my paint between coats.

Those look like nice and I like the color combo. Did you go with leather and is that the light gray? How's the fit? I'm worried that slipover covers will be baggy in places and move around when you set on them.

I saw someone else on here with this color combo and really liked it, so I screenshot the picture and sent it to Tyler @ Clazzio and he did a copy of the set for my second gen. They are baggy on the backrest, seem to be a little to tight so it leaves an air pocket directly behind your back. I’m hoping they stretch and settle more but overall the fit is really good. Definitely looks factory and install was easier than I expected, although still a PITA….

got my prinsu installed today :)

hit a deer on the way home from work this morning. her head hit the ARB bumper then spun her around and smacked my rear door & rocker panel. It pushed the door skin in but I think I can get most of it back out. can't have nice shit...

Dislike! But at least you have that bumper and didn't wreck your front end and radiator
