Gen 3 2021 Tacoma nightshade 4x4. Anyone have one yet?

Nice. I painted my chrome emblems in the center of the wheels and replaced the chromed mirror turn signals with the Tacoma Lifestyle sequential black signals. The only chrome left is that thing in the center of the grill.

Got the lift, bumper, winch and tires installed today. Small issue with the tires rubbing the UCA at full lock that I need to investigate. Tires are 265/70R18. No other rubbing at all.

Finally got time to meet up with my tint guy. Truck is still covered in tint shit but looks so much better IMO!!

 

Did you get the UCA rubbing fixed?

 

No, haven’t had time to take it to a reputable alignment shop. Hopefully Friday.

 

Yea, that was going to be my suggestion. If you are in the Ft. Worth area, I can recommend a couple of shops.

 

I’m in Kansas City. I have a good shop, just need to make time to take it in. I really don’t want to go the spacer route so hopefully they can work some magic and keep the tire off the UCA and cab mount at the same time.

 

Seems odd the extra 2” in height would be causing your issue. My money is on an alignment adjustment.

 

I have a feeling it’s the 18” Limited wheels at 0 offset. -10 to -18 would be ideal and will be what my wheeling wheels are. These are just for show and daily driving.

 

Set of Daytonas would like great on your truck.

 

Thinking more of a 16”. All black 8-hole classic style wheel. Get the retro look on the new style truck.

 

I can see it, that would look good. Some SCS SR8s would be killer, I don't think the SR8 is available in black with the bronze lip, those would be cool.

 

Something like this. Simple. Hold a tire with plenty of sidewall and won’t make me cringe when a rock gouges it. Hell, may just go steel.

All about that bronze aren’t ya?! Haha. I like the bronze look but want to go all black on this guy. Just ordered the Tacoma lifestyle sequential mirror lights recommended in this thread.

 

People have powder coated the bolts on these.

 

I have the matte gunmetal on mine.

 

Now we are getting somewhere!!

 

Non functional beadlocks I assume? I’ll black them out too.

 

fyi, I have a black Corvette. I know black. Just not solid black.
