I don't think that's even debatable. I'm pretty sure the one poster is confusing soft with best and thinks the Limited should have the "best".

No, the original statement was that the Limited was smoother on the highway than the OR.

(But then, I'm always game for a civil argument)

Here's my statement what started all the suspension racket:
"I went from a 2019 Sport to a 2021 Limited Nightshade and the ride is much more comfortable, especially on the highway. Granted, I don't off road. That's a need for a different vehicle entirely."

You ever see oil and water actually mix? We can expect to see the same results based upon people's emotional responses.

That is a sharp looking truck! That nightshade package gives it a different dimension. Any plans for it lol?

Taking it down to rendezvous in the ozarks in Arkansas this October to trail ride it. Eventually make it out to Colorado and Utah next spring.

Unibody can’t handle heavy use no matter how “durable” they make em. The body will eventually start creaking from stress. Seen that shit first hand with a commercial spec Nissan NV200.

not all of Tacoma buyers go off road so not all of us need TRD OR rear locker and skid plates.

I meant Sport and OR. But Pros are still hard to come by here and the damn dealers mark em up.

If the Pro could be optioned with a 6ft bed then we’re talking. But they don’t so it’s a no go.

Wish my 13 Limited had a moonroof/sunroof like all of my Accords had. This from a 68 y/o with slicked back thinning hair who wears plaid pants, black frame glasses and wears his pants with the waist band up to his tits. I don’t give a shit about your TRDs, ORs or the other models. I still enjoy driving my Limited around town, you know, mostly to the senior center and the AARP office for the free donuts. Old guys rule.

I'm a big fan of the nightshade edition and voodoo blue and you managed to put those two together very well. I know this isn't a nightshade edition but still its really nice and one of the nicest trucks I've seen on here

lol if limited actually meant limited production we all know prices would be sky high. But I do wish they called them platinum instead.

shit look at Broncos. Not even limited production and they’re selling for a mark up.

I bought a 21 Limited long bed back in February. It was actually my first Tacoma and first truck in general.

To explain why I chose the limited over the OR, is because it fit my use-case better. 98% of my driving is paved roads. I hunt ~10x a year which involves minimal offroading, and even then, its mostly trails on farmland. Very seldom do I need to even use 4x4. So I don't need a rear locker or crawl control.

When I drive, I like listening to music and valued the JBL sound system pretty heavily. I always wanted a sun roof and thought my first truck would be the perfect time to get one (I actually never use it and would actually choose the headroom over it today). I liked the extra tech features like the adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, 360 camera, lane departure cameras, etc. I like the idea of having the brown leather interior. Though, after awhile with the brown interior, I think I would have rather gotten black. I liked the long bed for the extra capacity, something I thought I wouldn't need but have actually ended up using the full bed multiple times so far.

All in all, the limited just fit what I needed more when I made the purchase. Sure, I could have gotten the OR and gotten all of the upgrades, but no dealer around had one spec'd on their lot.

Looking back and with my knowledge that I have now, an upgraded OR without a sunroof would likely have been an ever better fit. But at the time and with the info I had, the Limited was the best option so I have no regrets.

what don’t you like about the brown interior?

I spend most if not all of my time on the pavement too. Might drive on the front lawn once in a while to hook up a trailer. I have no use for a TRD OR. I’m more along the lines of a TRD Sport w/ leather or Limited. I spend more time in parking lots eating lunch than I do driving it honestly.

I was looking at Colorado duramax/Gladiator EcoDiesels until I realized if I do a Tacoma Limited I could reuse my back rack and brush guard. Plus I am already familiar with the Tacoma layout.

Kinda depends on the exterior color. Looks like shit with a silver or gray truck. Black leather is better on those.

Works well with black, white, blue, red and others.

I don't hate it by any means. I should have clarified that I used the brown leather as one of the justifications for selecting the limited trim. I have the super white exterior and thought the hickory interior would really go well together. Don't get me wrong, it looks great. It's just that after 6 months with the truck, I wouldnt have cared much about it if it were black. Again, no complaints with it, but knowing what I know today, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to choose the hickory over black.
