I had the black leather ones in my 3rd gen for over 5 years and they were tight as a glove and never slipped. I just installed the light gray PVC in my 2012. Looks just as good as my 3rd gen leather. My only issue is the fold flat passenger seat cover is a pain to get the rear stretched correctly for tucking into the "table" area. Wish I would have bought the non fold flat version for that reason because I have no use for the fold flat seat table surface. In my opinion these are the best covers made and one of the best mods to install on any truck.

Do they put a pocket on the back of the seats? I like to keep my maintenance records there so they're not taking up the glove box. I can't believe Toyota didn't put one on.

My 3rd gen had one on both Clazzio covers. As the 2nd gen has the "table top" on the passenger seat back the driver seat does have the pocket. I went with the PVC material on the 2nd gen because it is more of a budget build and that saved me over $200. The leather covers are all PVC except for the perforated insert under the butt and against your back. My leather covers never had issues with the PVC area where you put most wear getting in and out. I felt if that material held up so well then it would be fine to go with the perforated PVC on the insert areas. They look the same when installed.

Changed my oil last night and emptied my oil catch can. I can tell you it is worth it! I cant tell you how many miles I've driven since I put it in but can't be much more then 1000 miles. I installed it on July 20th. So in 2 weeks this is how much oil it has collected. Its not much but for only 2 weeks that to me seems like a lot.

Positive crank case ventilation carries oily gas into the intake to get burned in the combustion chambers. this also puts a lot of oil into your intake manifold. Adding a catch can allows the gas to get back into the intake but not all the oil resulting in much cleaner intake. There is a lot of debate about catch cans, I have run them on a couple of my cars and I like the benefit of them not lining my intake with oil.

They truly benefit turbos, but in a naturally aspirated there is little to no discernible benefit in wear and tear or improvement in engine output. There are anecdotes about it all day long, but you're just adding another point of failure, in my eyes, if you forgot to empty it and it fills up. If I had a turbo though, I would absolutely want one. To each their own. :)

been running one on my '13 shortly after I bought it in '17, I empty it every oil change. It's amazing how much oil & moisture (in fall/winter) ends up in it every 5K miles.

How are you mounting that storage case on the driver side? drilled holes in it i presume? really a bummer more companies dont make lockable mounts.

Yes I had to drill holes in both cases, they are on there very solid though.. I should have waited until I had all my things to mount on the rack before drilling and mounting, you can't move anything without drilling more holes, which I didn't have to do!

Just bought it, but it's been lifted and who knows what else has been crappily done before I got it. It's going to be a project for sure... but it's my daily driver too.
I totally need this. Mine is a trash heap right now.
