Is there any way to open the hood on a trd gen if the hood latch from the dash is not connected? I already drained my oil and need to get the hood up to refill it

I was reading the Dixie Fire has all of the Lake Almanor area evacuated and the fire is on the move again. Weather is also changing with a red-flag warning up at 1PM today.

Be nice to get some of that rain UT has been getting.

 

I know Quincy is a long way away for some, but not for others. If any and every one could spread the word, they need help.
