Just got home from pulling someone out down Lake Mary road, off FSR81 west of Happy Jack. The mud out there slicker then all hell. Slung off at some point a couple of Goat Armor panels. Gonna be fun getting the rest of the mud off. Another reason why I hate mud.
Dude wasnt stuck bad. Just 2wd in slick mud couldnt get going anywhere.

Now thats an axle with some fuckin ground clearance...thanks @snowsk8air2 Shock relo and hangers performed flawlessly on my 1000 mile trip to Colorado this weekend. Shocks set to stiff and truck loaded down for a full camping trip handled great on the highway. Still might want to swap to slightly stiffer valves but its good for now. Ill let it break in a bit.

I have them in my hands, just need to install, didnt get here in time for my trip. Didnt do any wheeling(unfortunately) and the hard lines are unbolted for now so it was fine.

Got an extra blow out plug for winterizing RV's or blowing out hoses with my replacement pancake compressor.

Anyone want it before I toss it in my tool box and forget it's there for the next 5+ years?

Cinders camping the weekend of the 21st. Shenanigans in the cinders as well as running dead doe wash (about 20 miles away) at some point. Hit me up if anyone wants to tag along.

some pics of the wash trail for reference. It’s an out and back and less than a mile long so people can stop at anytime and just walk the rest until the group turns around

Speaking of camping, heres a little sneak peak of my latest project. Hoping to have it done by the 14th which is a "work" camp trip for the girlfriends job. Gotta have full show-off mode ready to go. Finished product will incorporate multiple drawers for various kitchen related things. Total slide out is 26" so the water spout hangs off the end of the tailgate ~3"

Also, in case you've been living under a rock, plywood is expensive as fuck these days.

Ha nope, havent really done anything in this truck that warranted them. Mostly just milder dirt roads to get to remote camping spots. I love rock crawling but I havent really built this truck for that.

This trail would be a good first and last use of the stock skids for you @Atl-atl haha. Just need to watch the trans pan. First time I did it was in the snow a few winters ago and that’s when I dented my trans pan. Built my trans skid shortly after.

Friday should be good. Just text me before coming over.

And yeah I’d bet you’d be the first. But like I’ve told others. Worst case you get there or get through the first obstacle and say nope I’m done. And just leave the truck and walk the rear of the trail until we come back. Then someone can always give you a winch or a pull to get back out.

@BillW not sure if that was an indication that you wanted it.

Good news is that it has not made it into the toolbox yet, but HAS made it out of my wife's view (which means it can stay where it's at for a while), behind some Ardbeg bottles.
