Back to this... long shot, I know, but does anybody have an extra set of the harness-side connectors for a 96-98 4Runner's front turn signals? I want to get these lights wired in properly.

99-01 4Runner might also work--I've included a picture of the bulb-side connector for reference. I need the mating connectors from the vehicle wire harness.

If not, I'll see what the local you-pick yard has. There's a '97 4Runner that showed up last week, but it's got extensive front-end damage.

I read that's a thing now, in Covid times. People put their home up for sale, take the money then refuse to vacate it. Believe it or not there's some legal loophole that allows them to remain if that happens. Read some news story about it last year.

 

Wonder if you can do the same with a vehicle

Yeah I think I did. The story they highlighted was in CA. The couple that bought the home hadnt been able to move in for months even though he had their money. He literally never left the house and as long as he didn't they couldn't do anything about it.
I wanna say they've figured out how to close that loophole by now... hopefully
