Hoping for some camping/wheeling events in the fall when it's cooler; trying to plan something with the girlfriend. She's wanting to come along and I'm looking forward to testing out all the new mods from this year.

How about a Pipeline trip in late October? I've been thinking about this anyway.

Also, I'm planning an early October T.W.A.T run starting at Point Detour on Lake Superior. That's a real haul for you, though.

    10 am Saturday the 21st

The T.W.A.T run in October sounds interesting. I believe my wife would like to come along on this however we don't camp but are willing to stay at Casino.

I see there's a casino 18 minutes from Point Detour.

There could be others, but Google Maps seems to have become even crummier than usual. I search "casino" and it shows hotels. I had to search "gambling" to see casinos. Which makes sense, I guess..

I believe that's where you pay for camping at Point Detour is at Legendary resort and casino.

I thought there would be a pay station at the campgrounds. I guess I'll find out in October. If I have to run to the casino to pay, I guess I'll have to drop a $20 in a slot while I'm there. :D
