In for updates on stock, I need this before I take my truck to England this fall

 

is stage 2 going to happen?

 

@MESO Wondering where you stand on getting the stage 1 kit back in stock. Also, do I need to purchase the load resistors separately or do they come with the kit? Thanks!

 

Oh, I thought I needed load resistors with an LED conversion or I'd have hyper flashing issues or a bulb out warning. In videos I've seen on youtube their kits appeared to come with two gold load resistors they attached with adhesive to the wall of the tail light well.

 

I think it may have came with the kit, I installed mine last year. All I know was I didn't have to buy load resistors.

No problem, and yes the kits are hard to come by, along with all the other meso products.

 

I think last I saw was no S2 in the works at this time, but was working on getting S1 in the future

 

99% of users don’t actually need the resistor especially if you have other led lighting on your rig but in the case that you do need it I believe @MESO will ship you the resistors to fix your hyper flash issue post haste.

 

yep no S2 anymore just the S1 but other tail light stuff coming out Q4 for the 3rd gen is what Meso has been teasing us with. No official announcements with dates or pics yet though..

 

These would be the first LEDs on the truck. Since I am mechanically handicapped I'd rather do this operation once and not push my luck, so if the resistors don't come in the kit I'll gladly spend an extra $20 on the off chance I need them.

 

Generally, the rule is… if you have MESO Ultimate Turns, the resistor is already there. If you’re just doing this, it’s a “potential” and you’ll have to experiment as each vehicle is unique. Front turn LEDs will also affect resistance, so it’s the collective load.

Going to have to wait for the 3D print window to open up. I'm waiting on a set as well. Should be opened up in the next few weeks.

No stage 2 in the works at the moment form what I've heard.
