TSS in this case is Toyota Sport Series, and like the above said, it's basically just dealer added rims and running boards and some other cosmetics. It's not an official option. Toyota Safety Sense is a set of sensors that are part of the tech package or advanced tech package (blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, pre collision, lane departure alert, and radar cruise control are all under the umbrella of TSS).

Congrats - glad you were able to find one in your price range. Now, stay off of TW and you'll still have money in your wallet :spending:

Congratulations on picking Tacoma. Best upgrade advice is to wait to see what you really need. Factory is often actually the best for normal use.

Umm it’s like an additional upgrade from the factory, on Toyota it’s $4000 to choose that.

    Nice truck!
Have you considered what your part-time job will be?
I mean you do need to make that extra money to support the new Taco upgrade addiction that we all share.

I solved the sliding around problem by installing 1” wide anti slip tape to the bed. Works awesome. $30 and no extra weight.

What are the zip ties for? Are they suppose to prevent somebody from taking it out of your bed or?

The greatest mod next to tires and suspension. Stuff stays and it protects the bed.

He zipped tied the mat down so it wouldn’t slide all around, lol.

The only time my bed mat moves is when going thru the high volume air dryer at a touchless car wash...at the right (wrong) spot the mat lifts higher than the sidewalls. I've gotten pretty good at judging when to quickly drive pass that point

P.S. The bed mat is a blessing most of the time. But there are times i take it out because I want the benefit of the slick poly inner bed. Like when loading up the bed full of brush and branches, I can back up to the burn pit and just drag the whole load out much easier than if it was gripping the rubber mat. Haul any heavy metal device and the bed mat is highly desired to keep it from slamming into the back of the cab when you brake.

I guess there are people that never load anything in their bed.

No offense, but there is no such thing as a Tacoma TSS. All toyota vehicles come with the TSS system, but no Toyota is called a TSS. I cannot tell from the pic what model Tacoma you got. I did just notice some sticker on the rear fender panels that seems to say TSS, but unless someone here comes up with some strange explanation, there is no such thing as a TSS model Toyota, unless it was some sort of regional dealer thing.

    Like, so many.
It’s a regional appearance package. In my region it’s the XP.
