Good advice if the OP wants to sit on it forever. 20-30% isn't even close to being enough of a discount, heck 50% isn't going to be enough. There is not enough of demand for used beds along with it having to be a local cash sale.

Now parting it out where the bulk of the money comes from the tailgate, that's another story.

I want to see a new Bronco 2dr with a matching 3rd gen TRailer. The TRailer has a hitch receiver so, you could tow 2 TRailers.

Mine has the factory trailer hitch(it's built off an 07 access cab frame) But in AL, towing 2 trailers isn't legal for regular folk

Going with a Temco flatbed. They’re local to our area and they have great reviews. Circle D was an option we looked into as well but liked Temco a little more. Looked into custom but it’s too much money.

It’ll be about $2000 for the bed plus some for installation and we’re adding a couple of tool boxes under the bed so it’ll be about $3000 total.

I sold the 2017 Tacoma short box for $1,100 CDN. But it wasn't brand new. Post it for $2,000 USD and see what you get!

I hope they're building it out of aluminum! Steel is too heavy for these trucks.

I hope this answers your question ;)

China brand.. I lucked out with the vendor. Top Gear Auto Sport. I strongly urge BUYER BEWARE as they've left many others in the dust.

I ordered one in 2015 - I'm still waiting! (That was a (bad) Joke!!!) My SmartCap arrived only a bit delayed after the stated lead time)

I winder why the flatbeds / full cap bed replacements are not nearly as popular in the Americas and in Australia... Tons of them there.

Tacomas are the best looking truck... BUT Hyluxs look better with a flatbed. (maybe I have not seen enough Tacomas with a flatbed...)

I will say - THAT SmartCapXL is the proper bed replacement for a Taco! Very Nice!
